Transcript

This is a quick meditation to support you to cultivate calm,

Finding a comfortable seated position and as you land in your comfortable seat,

Straight away feeling the weight of your body on the earth,

Your skin,

The physical barrier between your body and the rest of the world.

As you land in your comfortable position,

Feeling the weight of your body,

The barrier of your body,

Could you just look around you,

Noticing what you can see,

Hear.

And once you've oriented yourself in space,

Gently closing down the eyes and tuning back into the awareness of your skin,

Inviting your awareness over your skin to be like a beautiful,

Nourishing oil,

Moisturizing you,

Relaxing you,

Your awareness moisturizing your skin,

Feeling your physical body held here met by the earth.

And with that sense of moisturizing nourishment to the skin,

Could you invite a softness,

A softness over the whole surface of your being,

A softness of your skin.

And as you continue to soften your skin,

Inviting that softness into the muscles,

Tendons,

The ligaments,

The internal organs.

And as you continue to soften,

Feeling the weight of your body held by the earth here.

And as you bring your awareness to your breath now,

With the inhale,

Could you invite the word calm,

Either internally or out loud.

And as you exhale,

Allowing any frequencies that do not align to release down and out of your being into the earth.

With every inhale,

Welcoming the word,

The frequency,

Calm.

Every exhale and effortless softening into the support beneath you.

With every inhale,

We breathe in and meet within us,

Calm.

With every exhale,

Releasing,

Landing,

Feeling the support beneath us.

Continuing to breathe in this way,

Welcoming calm with the inhale.

Feeling it light up the cells,

The spaces within that already reside in this frequency.

Know this.

With the exhale,

As a natural letting go,

Surrendering,

The softening.

Anytime the mind wanders,

Just coming back to that word,

That frequency with the inhale.

With every exhale,

Letting it all go.

Just taking a couple more rounds of breath like this.

Feeling this sense of calm cultivated within your being.

And in your own time,

Bringing your awareness back to your skin.

Any textures or temperatures on the skin.

Feeling your body soft and supported.

Listening to the sounds around you.

As you listen to the sounds around you,

Could you stay in contact with this sense of calm that you've cultivated within.

And as you gently bat open the eyelids,

Feeling that connection to this cultivation of calm.

And giving yourself permission to take this sense of calm that you've cultivated into the rest of your life.

Closing down the practice however feels good to you.

Thank you for joining me.

It was definitely calming once I tuned out the background noise. A nice music track maybe? Calmed me down very well so great practice. 💛
