You are here.
And it is now.
I'm Tiffany,
And welcome to Life Unedited Sanctuary.
Where reality happens.
Life Unedited is the practice of radical acceptance of life at face value through the lens of reality therapy theories.
Today's theory encourages us to cultivate our peace.
By practicing.
The radical acceptance of divine timing.
Everything happens when it is supposed to.
Imagine that for a moment.
Everything happens.
When it is supposed to.
That's a lot to absorb.
And if we radically accept that.
Then we are putting our faith and trust into divine timing.
When we do that.
There is such a sense of freedom that follows.
It also reduces our need to worry.
Fixate or push for really anything.
It reduces our need to control which in turn reduces our anxiety.
And therein lies one of the problems with accepting divine timing.
Our need to control.
That is a deeply ingrained personality trait.
Actually,
Is it a personality trait?
It's more of a defense mechanism,
A coping skill.
And or an attempt to protect ourselves.
I think the core of our need to control has deep roots in our fear of death.
And that's for another time.
Our need to control is directly related to our anxiety.
Anxiety about the past,
Future,
And the right now.
If I am in control.
Then I feel a sense of peace.
Making our peace conditional.
Another roadblock of acceptance of divine timing has to do with trust.
In order to trust anyone or anything outside of ourselves,
We must first trust us.
From my counselor's chair,
I see epidemic proportions of a lack of self-trust.
We are born with everything we need,
Including self-trust.
And from a young age,
It has eroded from all aspects of the world outside of us.
We learned to doubt ourselves from a very young age,
And social media has been an enormous contributor to that epidemic.
Coming back to ourselves,
Remembering who we are under all the layers,
Rules,
And masks is a good place to start.
Tap into our authenticity and trust that we have our best interest at heart.
It's a worthwhile practice.
The third argument we make against divine timing is when something doesn't happen when we want it to,
On our timeline,
Or how we want it to.
That is an argument against reality.
The reality being that it happened when it did or it will happen when it does.
It will happen when it happens and not a minute before it happens.
Also.
It will happen how it happens.
And that hell will be for our greatest good.
Whether or not we may see it in that moment.
Radical acceptance of divine timing is about accepting that the universe gives us what we need,
When we need it.
It gives us who we need when we need them.
The timing is unique to each and every person and according to their soul lesson plans.
The universe is good that way.
When we accept that,
We are free to fully immerse ourselves in our now.
Our attachment to our timeline and outcome causes us to suffer by way of stress and worry.
It is up to us to think outside of the box,
Or maybe widen the lens through which we are viewing.
For example.
Let's say we need a vehicle to get to work.
And a coworker offers us a ride.
One might argue.
With reality,
Mind you.
That it is not our vehicle.
It is,
In fact,
A vehicle,
Maybe just not ours.
It is a vehicle that can get us to work,
Which will get us a paycheck,
That could contribute to a vehicle of our own.
When we change our perception.
We can change our world.

Everything happens for a reason.
Or does it?

Control is an illusion.

Change your world.
