Find a comfortable place to sit.
Sit with your legs crossed with a tall straight spine.
Breathe in deeply and let it out through your mouth.
As you sigh out through your mouth,
Notice how your body relieves tension,
How it feels heavy,
How it has that quality of letting go.
As you breathe in,
Pull your spine up straight from the top of your crown to the base of your spine.
Sit with dignity,
Tall and proud.
Allow yourself to connect with the ground beneath you,
To be fully held,
To be supported.
Focus in on your breath,
On the inhale and the exhale.
Releasing the need to have it be perfect or to time it or to count it.
Just breathe naturally and start to turn your attention to your breath.
This is your time to come inwards,
To be held,
To be supported,
To remind yourself that you are always provided for.
It is safe for you to have all of your needs met.
You have always been provided for.
Notice the base of your body connecting to the ground and bring awareness to the base of your spine.
Imagine a red warm light in this area.
This is the energetic area of the body that grounds you to the stability in your life.
This is one of the most important energy centers of the body.
This is our foundation.
When our basic physical and emotional needs are met and we are firmly rooted into our own being,
This is when we can then grow,
Explore,
Reach,
Be of service,
Succeed.
But not before we find safety here.
So keep breathing and keep focusing,
Bringing your awareness to this energetic center of the body,
The base of your spine,
Your root.
As you breathe in,
Repeat to yourself,
It is safe for me to have all of my physical and emotional needs met.
And breathing out.
It is safe for me to have all my physical and emotional needs met.
Keep breathing.
Let yourself flow with the natural rhythm of your breath and keep bringing your attention to the base of your spine.
We will sit for silence for one minute.
When you are ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Savoring this quality of stillness and silence.
Savoring this connection to your root,
To your power,
To your foundation.
Knowing that when this is in place,
You can handle anything that comes your way.
