Finding a comfortable seat and simply starting to breathe.
For today's morning meditation you can be sitting on the floor of your room with your legs crossed and a straight spine or you can lie down completely and just experience that feeling of being completely supported,
Being completely held.
And in today's meditation we are going to just breathe.
We are going to remind ourselves that meditation at its core is just this.
This conscious connection to our breath.
Just breathing because sometimes that is all that you've got and today it gets to be enough.
So I don't want you to breathe in any particular fashion or any type of technique.
Just sit and breathe whatever way comes naturally to you and just bring your attention to your breath and focus on the inhale.
What it feels like when the breath comes through your nostrils and then the exhale that sensation right on your nostrils.
What does that feel like?
Notice the weight that's being lifted off you.
Let the heaviness melt away.
Today we just breathe.
Today we breathe because this is what it takes to cultivate that unshakable manner.
This is what is required in order to soften,
To turn inwards,
To connect with our breath.
This is when we remember that the only approval we need is our own and it gets to be enough.
Keep breathing.
Keep coming back to your breath.
Keep coming back to the sensation of what it feels like to simply breathe.
As you begin your day I want to remind you that you are enough.
This meditation,
This tuning into your breath is enough.
You are always provided for through this breath.
You are always provided for.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold it slightly and then release it.
As you open your eyes take with you this feeling of stillness,
The certainty,
This remembering.
I'm always provided for and it is enough.
