Welcome,
I'm Teresa.
And this is a short,
Gentle reset for moments when you've been holding a lot.
There's nothing you need to do here.
Nowhere to get to.
Just a few minutes to pause and return to yourself.
Let's start by noticing your breath.
No need to change it.
We're not forcing.
Just noticing.
And if it feels okay,
Let your shoulders soften even slightly.
Let your jaw unclench just a little.
You don't have to release everything.
Just a small softening.
If you've been caring for others,
Holding space,
Responding.
Adjusting,
Giving.
It makes sense if your system feels a little full.
A little tired.
You've been carrying a lot.
Take a slow breath in.
And a longer,
Easy breath out.
Again,
A soft inhale.
And a gentle exhale.
Let your body know it can begin to settle.
Even just a little.
Now bring your awareness to where you are.
Let your eyes softly look around.
Or simply imagine the space you're in.
Noticing something neutral.
Or even slightly comforting.
Let your system take in,
I am here.
There's nothing to fix.
No problem to solve.
Just here with me in this moment.
Now gently bring your attention inward.
Noticing your body.
Noticing any areas of tension or holding.
And instead of trying to release it,
See if you can soften around it.
Inviting just a little more space.
And taking a breath here.
And now very gently ask yourself,
What would feel supportive for me right now?
It might be something small,
A sip of water,
A change in position.
A moment of quiet.
You don't need to do it right away,
Just noticing.
And if it feels possible,
Let yourself know,
I can come back to this.
One small moment at a time.
As we come to a close,
Just notice how you feel.
Even the smallest shift is enough.
You don't need a lot of time to begin supporting yourself.
Just a few moments like this is enough.
If this practice felt helpful,
You're welcome to return to it anytime you need a reset.
And if you're looking for more support,
My course,
The Sustainable Caregiver,
Offers a series of short lessons to help you care for others while staying connected to yourself.
For now,
Take one more gentle breath.
Carry this with you.
You've been holding a lot,
And you're allowed to be supported too.
As you return to your day,
Remember as always,
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are enough.
