Hello friends,

My name is Theresa Marie and I'm so happy that you stopped by today.

I love reaching for tools in my tool belt when I get sad or mad.

Do you ever get frustrated and wish that you could just calm yourself down?

Or do you ever feel like you have ants in your pants or like sometimes it's so hard to calm down and just sit still?

Try this breathing practice with me in a safe space with your eyes closed if you can,

But it's not necessary,

Where you can relax and listen to my voice and hold your body still.

You can sit upright,

Straight and tall,

Or you can lay down on your bed and grab a blanket or maybe your favorite toy friend to be with you if you'd like.

Let's tell our current thoughts in our head,

Thanks for being here in my head,

But I'd like a break right now.

Tell our thoughts to leave.

In fact,

Let's take a deep breath in together to clear away those current thoughts and ideas in our brain and we can get settled in.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Let's do it again.

In and out.

I call in Archangel Gabriel,

The gentle healing angel who watches over all the children all the time and I ask him to be with us now,

Protecting us.

Thank you for providing your healing green light now.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

When there is something that we just have to do,

It can be really hard to pay attention to just that one thing.

It's not easy to stay focused with our minds on just one thing without getting distracted,

But with practice,

Our brains can get better and better at it.

This is kind of fun and quick and can help our minds learn to concentrate.

You can practice this breathing anytime that you need to get focused.

What does it mean to listen is my question today.

What is it that we are listening for?

Listen.

Let's continue sitting up straight and tall,

Taking a deep breath in,

Letting it all the way back out,

Holding your body really still.

Listen.

What do you hear when there's nothing to listen to?

Close your eyes if they aren't already,

Just for a second so that you can really tune in.

What sounds are around you?

If you listen even harder,

What do you hear?

Take a long deep breath in and let it all the way out.

And hey,

I just heard your breath.

Where is your breath?

Where does it go?

Just take a long deep breath in and let it all the way out.

You can keep taking these easy long breaths in and long breaths out.

Just keep it simple and easy.

Think about where you're feeling this breath in your body as you breathe in and out.

Do you feel it in your nose or in your mouth?

Or can you only hear it?

Are you feeling the air from breathing in your chest or in your belly as it rises and falls?

In your mind's eye,

Follow the air as it comes into your body with a light happiness when it goes back out again.

It's taking away all the sadness and madness I'm feeling.

And with light and happiness,

Out with sadness and madness.

Breathing in happy clean air.

Breathing out my frustrations with each breath.

Breathing in,

Out.

Where do you feel the air now?

For me,

I feel lighter and not as upset as I was when I started.

That makes me happy already.

Breathing one more long breath in and letting it all the way out.

Just continue to go back breathing normally again.

Just softly and gently.

I want to thank you so much for joining me today.

I really hope you enjoyed this breathing exercise.

You can use it to help calm down or you can use it anytime in your mind.

I really enjoyed sharing it with you.

It's one of the tools I use to calm myself down all by myself.

I want to remind you that you're truly a miracle and a blessing to so many.

Don't you ever forget it.

You are a light in this wonderful world.

You are the light that this world needs.

Namaste sweetheart.

The light in me sees the light in you.

I thank Archangel Gabriel for being with us today.

Protecting us always and giving us permission to be kids.

All of us kids.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

Bye for now.
