Hi friends,
My name is Theresa Marie and I'm so happy that you've joined me today.
I love sharing the tools that I keep in my tool belt that I reach for when I get sad or mad and I don't know what else to do.
Do you ever get mad or sad or wish that you could calm yourself down or ever feel like,
You know,
Like you have ants in your pants or like sometimes it's so hard to sit still?
Try this breathing practice with me in a safe place with your eyes closed if you can,
But it's not necessary,
Where you can relax and listen to my voice and hold your body still.
You can be sitting up straight and tall or laying down on your bed.
You can grab a blanket or,
You know,
Get your favorite toy friend to be with you if you'd like.
And let's just tell her thoughts.
Thank you for coming by.
We'd like a break right now.
In fact,
Let's just take a deep breath in together.
We can clear away our current thoughts and get settled in.
Let's take a deep breath up through your nose and let it go out of your mouth.
Let's do that again.
In through your nose and out through your mouth with a long sigh.
Let's call in Archangel Gabriel,
The gentle Archangel who watches over all children at all times to be with us now.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
And I wanted to ask you,
What's your favorite color?
Is it red or orange?
Yellow or green?
Or is it blue or purple or white?
Or is it a different color?
What's your favorite color?
Imagine that color now.
Think of it like a little ball of your favorite color and it's inside your body somewhere.
Where do you see it?
Is this little ball of your favorite color near your heart?
Is it in your tummy?
Is it all the way down at your big toe or up at the top of your head?
Let's take a deep breath in and see this ball of light sitting there.
Your favorite color.
Let's breathe normally as we see that ball of light getting bigger and bigger and bigger and brighter.
You can see that light taking over your whole body from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.
Imagine this light spreading outside of you,
Filling up your room up to the walls,
Spreading across the entire room,
Filling up the corners.
Follow this ball of color in your mind's eye as it expands through the walls in the room you're in,
Taking over your whole building with a loving,
Pretty,
Bright light.
Just keep breathing normally and easily as you imagine this warm color hugging you right where you are.
This color makes you feel really good.
This warm color makes you feel really cozy and safe,
Really peaceful and calm.
Keep breathing normally.
See the beautiful color completely surrounding you as it melts away the sadness,
Melts away the anger.
What remains inside of you is love and joy.
It feels so right and so happy.
Let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
This time we'll hold it for one second and then let it all go out of your mouth.
Make a sound if you want.
Deep breath in.
Hold at the top.
Let it all go.
Take another deep breath in.
Hold it for a second.
Let it all go.
Just go back to breathing normal again.
Let's bring our color back into our mind's eye.
Bringing the color back in from the whole building.
Bringing it back into the room and our four walls that we're in.
Bringing it back,
Back inside our space,
Back around our bodies and inside our bodies.
Bringing that pretty color back inside my little bowl that I've created.
Resting and relaxing now.
Breathing in and breathing out.
We can slowly blink our eyes open if they were closed,
But let's stay still.
I just want you to smile and be so proud of yourself for breathing through your feelings.
You know,
You are in control of how you feel.
No one can make you feel anything that you don't want to feel.
Only you can allow any of those feelings to flood into your body or not.
You know what I mean?
So thank you so much for joining me today.
I really hope that you enjoyed this breathing meditation and adding this tool to your tool belt.
I really enjoyed sharing it with you.
It's one of the favorite ways I have to calm myself down all by myself.
You are truly such a miracle and you're such a blessing to so many.
Don't you ever forget it.
Namaste sweetheart.
The light in me sees the light in you.
And I thank Archangel Gabriel for being with us today for his loving protection.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And bye for now.
