There is so much happening in the world, in our country, our homes, and our bodies. You are allowed to be human and feel the flux of all emotions and remember to let go of what you can not control. Let go and see the beauty inside you, all around you.

Welcome to your space,

A collection of many meditations that I am offering you.

I am Sami,

The Temple Yoga of Perth.

My hope for you is that through this time you will find that your mind,

Your body,

Your heart,

Your spirit can come back into alignment.

That is true happiness.

This mini meditation is a little sample of a longer offering that I have for you right now called a letting go.

I know right now there is so much happening in the world.

There is so much happening in your own country,

In your own home and in your own body.

And I felt really called to support us to let go of the things that we cannot control,

To remind you that there are small things that you can do to bring yourself back to that beautiful equilibrium,

That homeostasis,

That place of alignment.

I want to remind you that there are small things that you can do to help yourself,

To make sure we don't stay and overwhelm and to be able to take action.

So if we see things that make our heart heavy,

We sit and feel and process and then move through that to action.

If we feel things in our own lives,

We acknowledge the feeling,

We go through it,

We reach out and get help and support as we need it.

But know that there are small things that you can do to help your mind,

Your heart,

Your body.

So this will be a short talk in the beginning and we will end with some visualization and breath work.

So if you can,

And it's available to you,

Just close your eyes and arrive here.

Arrive at home with yourself.

I see you.

You are human and all of you is welcome.

The heaviness and sadness,

Frustration,

You'll love your joy.

We are able to come back to this place of alignment,

But not by dismissing hard feelings,

Not by pretending we don't see what breaks our heart,

But we acknowledge that we are human with flux of our emotions.

And that is life.

And that is allowed.

I want to remind you that we aren't designed to feel happy and content all of the time.

So we must let go of that expectation.

Let go of comparisons and move through what we observe and return to our breath.

So as your eyes are closed,

If you're able to,

Or if you can just draw your mind's eye to any points of tightness in your body,

Don't ignore them.

Listen to them.

Listen to the feedback of your body.

Hold space for yourself to feel that tension and tightness and look at it and see it and hear it.

Taking a deep breath into any areas of tightness,

Breathing in for four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Opening your mouth and softening and allowing that sigh and that air to release.

Allowing ease to calm into that part of your body.

Breathing in for four,

Three,

Two,

One.

And feeling that tightness transmute to softness and ease.

Exhaling.

Two more rounds.

Breathing in for three,

Two,

One and exhale.

Breathing in.

Release.

As your breath returns to a steady rate of in for two and out for two through your nostrils,

You feel the ease of that air flowing in and out and you realise that you are able to move heaviness inside of your body with this beautiful tool of your breath.

And as we remember this,

We let go of the struggle and you feel the beauty that is inside of you.

You let go of your struggle and you see the beauty that is around you.

That can be found in the smallest of things.

The steam rising off your cup of tea.

Hearing the wind rustling through the leaves.

Seeing rain fall.

Watching stars.

Thank you for spending this few minutes with me.

If you would like to join me again,

Remember that there is a longer offering called a letting go.

Thank you for spending this time with me and most importantly for making this time for space.
