
Morning Energy Boost
This is a practice to help you start your morning full of energy and motivation by guiding you through a gentle moving meditation to wake up your body. Synchronizing the breath with movement helps to create a cohesive mind-body connection for more grounded and embodied days.

Hello,
I am Taryn from Remote Team Wellness.
This quick morning relaxation is a guided energy starter that will help you to become wide awake,
Energetic,
And ready for the day ahead.
You can listen to this audio at any time of the day to help get your energy going.
Do not listen to this recording while driving or operating heavy machinery.
Let's begin in a nice comfortable seated position,
Your spine upright,
Your body grounded down into whatever you are supported by.
Begin to feel the sensations in your body.
Feeling of the feet on the ground.
The points of contact that your body makes with the chair.
And starting to draw your awareness to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Without trying to change your alter-rhythm anyway,
Just feeling how your breath moves through your body.
Noticing the quality of your breath this morning.
Now let's begin by taking some deep energizing breaths all the way into your belly space.
Inhaling deeply and feeling your belly expand like a balloon.
And exhaling slowly,
Allowing yourself to deflate.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
Breathe in.
And out.
Breathe in again,
Breathing in energy.
And exhale.
Keep breathing deeply,
Slowly,
And calmly.
With each breath,
You can take in the air that your body needs and become filled with energy.
You can exhale any tension or fatigue that you may be experiencing.
Just feel it moving away from your body.
For the next few moments,
Focusing on your breathing.
Concentrate on breathing energy and positive feelings in.
Breathing any negative feelings,
Any soreness,
Any tiredness,
Out and away.
Continue the guided energy starter,
Becoming more energized with each breath you take.
Waking up.
Becoming wide awake and energetic.
Prepare to get up and get moving.
Becoming alert and awake.
Allow the energy to grow and encourage this energy.
Grow this energy.
Becoming more and more energetic and alive.
Squeeze your hands into fists.
Clench your fists tightly.
Feeling the muscles in your hands and arms strong,
Tight.
Squeeze.
And now release the fists,
Allowing your hands to be loose and relaxed.
Allowing your hands and arms to become warm and awake.
Start to close your hands into fists and now open them.
Opening and closing the hands a few times in your own time.
Waking up the muscles of your hands and your arms.
And as you continue this guided energy starter,
Allowing yourself to experience the feelings of excitement and anticipation for the day ahead.
Allow the energy to flow through your body,
Completely waking up,
Fully energized.
Begin to rub your hands together,
Feeling the friction generated between your palms,
Like electricity crackling.
And allow this to expand and increase your energy.
As you rub your hands together,
It generates energy for your mind and your body.
Leaving you feeling completely awake and alert.
Begin to wiggle into your toes,
Feeling the texture of the feet in the socks or shoes,
Or maybe the feet on the ground.
And starting to flex the muscles on the fronts of your legs as you flex your feet and your toes towards your shins.
And then pointing your toes,
Flexing the muscles in the backs of the legs as you move your feet away from your legs.
Just gently beginning to point and flex the feet a few times.
And starting to make a couple of circles into the ankles,
Rolling out the joints,
Experiencing any clicks or cracks that may come.
Just gently warming up the lower part of your body.
And now move your feet quickly up and down,
Waking up your leg muscles up and down,
Up and down,
Up and down.
And find stillness with your feet,
Feeling the tingly energized sensations running through the muscles of your legs.
Placing your hands onto your knees,
Beginning to rub your hands up your legs towards your hips,
And then back down towards your knees.
Begin to move your hands a little bit quicker each time,
Briskly along the muscles of your thighs.
Let the hands move to the inner thighs,
Generating warmth and energy.
Moving to the outer thighs,
Feeling all of the muscles engage and activate.
And stop and gently allowing your hands to just rest into your lap.
Feel the energy in the muscles of your legs.
As you become more awake,
Alert,
And energized,
Getting ready to go.
Feel your body getting ready to move,
Eager to get going.
So filled with energy and motivation for the day.
And if your eyes aren't already open,
Gently start to open the eyes and take in your surroundings.
Begin to rise into a standing position with your feet shoulder width apart,
And your hands at your sides.
Observing the shapes,
The colors,
The textures within your visual field.
Start to breathe in as you reach your right arm up toward the ceiling and stretch your right hand as high into the air as you can.
Breathing out as you lower your right arm to your side.
Breathe in as you raise your left arm high up toward the ceiling,
Stretching through the fingertips.
And exhale,
Allowing your lower arm to come down to your side.
Now alternate your arms.
Breathing in as you raise your right arm,
And out as you lower it back down.
Breathe in as you raise your left arm,
And out as you lower it.
In,
Reach,
Out,
Relax.
In,
Reach,
Out,
Relax.
In,
Reach,
Out,
Relax.
In,
Reach,
Out,
Relax.
One more on either side.
In,
Reach,
Out,
Relax.
In,
Reach,
Out,
Relax.
Good.
Now relax your arms at your sides and just gently draw your eyes closed for a moment.
Become aware of how your body feels.
Turn your attention inward,
Just observing the state of your body.
Feel your breathing as each breath moves in and out of your body.
Feel the gentle movements that your body makes as your air moves with each breath.
Gentle expansion of the chest,
Relaxation through the shoulders.
Notice that you can feel calm and relaxed,
But energized at the same time.
You can encourage the energy within you to increase,
Becoming more and more energetic,
More awake,
More alert,
Ready to go.
Concentrate on a feeling deep inside the core of your body.
A feeling of energy,
Of power,
Of motivation,
Excitement.
Focus intently on this feeling.
You may notice it at the center of your body,
Near your stomach.
Encourage this feeling to grow,
Getting bigger and bigger.
See that energy within can grow without any effort at all.
The energy so easily and naturally grows,
Until you feel filled with buzzing electric energy.
So eager to move,
Movement would feel effortless.
Your body feels so light,
So powerful,
So free,
Completely filled with energy from head to toe.
Ready to move,
Ready to think,
Ready to act,
To do everything you need to do to fly through this day ahead.
Concentrate on the feeling and allow it to grow until it is so powerful that you feel unstoppable.
It is a wonderful feeling to be so energized and comfortable.
Now you can proceed with your day,
Ready to take on whatever arises,
Ready to face the day ahead,
Feeling energized,
Alert,
Calm,
And powerful.
