Practice self-care practice for this practice you may want to lie down finding a comfortable space to relax in making sure you have a blanket to hand in case you need some extra comfort as our temperature can change sometimes as we relax as you lie down and settle in allow your body to drop fully into the holding of mother earth feeling the weight of your body gently breathing into the belly and placing a hand on it feeling the hand move with each breath and the warmth of your hand against the belly sit supporting the womb allowing yourself to feel the rhythm and to connect with it now as you continue to breathe in this way also placing a hand on your heart and noticing how it feels today gently breathing into the heart and the womb and simply relaxing giving yourself time and space and then in your own space sliding your hands under your back at the height of the kidneys so that as you relax your body and its weight drops against the support of the floor or the mattress you find you're lying on your hands the kidneys are in the soft area between the ribs and the upper bones of the hips placing the hands in this way may feel like a bit of a stretch for the shoulders this can also be done sitting up against the back of a chair now as you relax into the hands that are now gently touching the kidneys take a moment to notice your breath and the space around you staying present to your experience and noticing the sensations that come with a touch of the kidneys what is the temperature like?

Can you feel the movement of your breath in your body and maybe even in your kidneys?

You can feel the movement of your breath in your kidneys so so so so so and as you stay connected to your experience what other sensations do you notice in your body?

As you allow it to relax into this holding noticing the feet and the places where your body is in contact with the support of the ground and then again bringing your awareness back to the kidneys and your hands to the warmth and the touch and just noticing and staying present so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so now we're slowly preparing to end this practice I invite you to gently be with yourself and to take a moment to notice how you feel gently opening your eyes when you feel ready while staying connected to yourself taking in the environment noticing how your breathing is now how you feel now allowing your cells to fully absorb the relaxation and experience you just had and if you feel like it take some time to journey and reflect on your experience in the next few minutes so so so so so so so so so
