So the compassionate breath is not a kind of a breath that is complex or that has many rules to it.
It is simply inhaling and exhaling through your nose without making an effort.
So basically inhaling deeply and softly,
Allowing your belly to expand when you inhale,
Allowing it to relax when you exhale very naturally.
And if that is not happening for you,
That the belly is not expanding when you inhale,
It doesn't matter.
Just keep on allowing the breath to find its own way.
And that breath,
That deep,
Soft inhale and exhale always through your nose,
Goes on throughout the entire practice.
So we will be doing this compassionate breath practice with the theme complete peace in the oneness within for about 20 minutes today.
And I will invite you of course to close your eyes and to really settle in.
So if you have found your nice comfortable place where you will be allowing yourself this very peaceful and candid moment with yourself,
Then we can go on.
So I invite you to close your eyes and inhale deeply and softly through your nose.
And then also exhale completely through your nose,
Giving the breath time to come into your body,
Giving yourself time to come into your breath,
Allowing the breath to adjust its own rhythm.
And as you allow yourself to sink into it,
Allowing it to widen naturally,
Really bringing all of your focus to this flow of your breath in this now moment.
Allowing your thoughts to wander away without attaching any attention to them,
Just bringing that attention completely to your breath.
As if you are really diving into the breath and with it,
Diving into your body,
Like a nice comfortable cushion where you rest.
And as you inhale deeply and softly and come into you,
Allow your shoulders,
Your neck,
All of your joints through your whole body to open up and relax,
Allowing them to breathe as well.
And as you come into this moment into your body,
Into your breath,
Allow yourself to become aware that the pores of your skin are breathing as well.
Your whole body is breathing at once.
And notice as the in breath becomes more balanced with the out breath,
So does your heartbeat.
Everything coming into sync,
Gradually,
Gently,
Just as you allow.
And the more you relax into your breath in this moment,
The more the whole body falls into the tune of the breath,
As if it were playing very gentle music,
Soothing all of your muscles,
All of your organs.
And this gentle music of your breath that is in sync with your heartbeat.
It creates a harmony,
A natural rhythm.
And you just keep on breathing deeply and softly through your nose,
Coming into sync with this natural rhythm.
As you become completely present in your breath,
Completely present in your body,
Completely present here,
Now,
For you.
And as you float deeper into you,
I invite you to connect to the core of your body,
Which is your gravity center,
Deep down in your belly,
Down below your belly button.
Allow yourself to really come into a merge with that space that is the exact center of your body and the core of yourself,
Allowing the circle of your breath to converge to that point of presence.
As you feel your belly when you inhale,
And then allow it to naturally relax when you exhale.
Notice that the rhythm of your breath is now wider,
More expansive,
And there is a profound harmony in the breath in your body,
In you.
So as you just stay in that space in your core,
Deep down in your belly,
Allow the warmth in that space,
The warmth in your belly,
As you breathe deeply and softly through your nose.
And gradually allow yourself to be connected,
Body,
Mind,
Soul,
Through the breath in your core,
Be here now,
Breathing,
And allowing that special feeling of peace,
Of stillness,
To start emerging from the warmth in your belly,
And through your breath to gradually start spreading out to all of your cells,
To all of the space in between them,
Start spreading throughout your whole body,
Quietening your inner landscape.
And as that soft music,
That soft melody of your breath,
Keeps on playing a harmonious rhythm throughout your body,
And spreading this peaceful sense that emanates from your core.
Just allow each cell to adjust to that frequency,
Really receiving it from you,
From deep within you.
As gradually your mind,
Your body,
And everything in it,
And your soul,
Become just one natural cohesive fusion in this now moment.
Allow yourself to stay.
From the warmth in your belly,
That brings this peace into your whole system.
Allow yourself to simply feel your merging,
With this rhythm of peace within you.
It is a sense,
It is an allowing.
As you receive each breath entirely.
A sense,
A knowing.
Surrender to just being in this breath,
In this moment,
In your core.
Complete,
United within.
Sensing the peace in that union.
And if you sense anything in you that is not in sync with that,
Just stay.
Stay deep within you where you are.
So that whatever might not be at peace,
You can just come towards this peace and be received very naturally,
Very simply.
And now depending on your own schedule,
If you'd like to stay just with your eyes closed and just in this peaceful awareness of you,
Just keeping the breath deep and gentle,
Always through your nose,
You are most welcome to just stay in that.
Or if you have to start preparing to open your eyes,
Just breathe even deeper.
Knowing that this peace doesn't go anywhere,
It stays as you allow yourself to stay.
So if you do have to start awakening,
Start feeling your body very gently.
Gently moving your fingers,
Your toes.
Softly preparing to open your eyes in your own time.
