Welcome to today's meditation.
Be free to burn bright.
Let's start by finding a comfortable spot to sit or lie down and close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
Filling your body with self-love and peace.
Then a cleansing breath out through your mouth,
Releasing all your negative energy.
Continue your slow,
Cleansing breaths and repeat our mantra,
Be free,
As you listen to my words.
As I look at my candle,
Barely a flicker,
Not a flame anymore as the candle has decreased so much in size.
I compare this to my heart,
My spirit at times,
A mere flicker of light,
Not the bright burning flame it once was.
Muted by disappointment,
Desperation,
Sadness,
Or anger,
Till only a small flicker of hope is left needing self-love,
Kindness,
Inspiration maybe,
To burn bright again.
As you try to capture that spark of hope for your flame to burn bright again,
Remind yourself of all that is good about you,
All the good you do each day,
All the lives you touch with your goodness.
There will be days you wonder how bright your flame is,
And if your candle is blown out,
Will you cease to exist?
But never give up,
Never quit.
Some days seem hard,
But tomorrow is another day,
Another chance to light your candle and show the world your amazing flame,
Your beautiful spirit that refuses to stop burning bright.
Protect your flame,
Nurture your flame,
Don't let anyone or anything blow your flame out.
You are here for a reason,
A greater purpose.
You are beautiful and you are important.
Now let's take one more deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it.
One,
Two,
Three.
Then release that breath through your mouth slowly,
Letting all the sadness and pain out so you will feel fresh and ready for a new positive page in your book of life.
Open your eyes and be free to always burn bright.
