Welcome to this guided intention practice for discovering what you may need today,
In the moments ahead,
And into your future.
So just settle in,
Letting go of anything that may have happened prior to arriving here,
Letting go of anything that may be happening into the future.
Just settling in and closing your eyes or maybe finding a nice soft focus and beginning to connect in with the breath,
So breathing in and out through the nose,
Mindfully and deeply.
Just allowing everything to relax and settle.
This is your time just to be.
You no longer need to be doing anything,
So just see if you can find a surrendering within yourself.
Beginning to notice the body,
Beginning to notice the breath,
Just noticing whatever may be there for you.
And then on your next inhale,
I'd like to invite us to take a nice deep breath together,
So breathing in through the nose,
And then releasing out through the mouth with a sigh.
Beautiful.
We'll do another one just like that.
So breathing in through the nose,
Releasing out through the mouth,
And one more,
Breathing in through the nose,
And really letting everything out.
Beautiful.
From here,
Just allowing the breath to settle in,
Finding its own natural rhythm.
And then if you'd like,
Maybe taking the hands and placing one over the heart and one over the belly and just noticing the gentle rise and fall of the chest,
Noticing the expansion and contraction of the lungs.
And then see if you can allow that breath to travel in and travel through your heart center.
So imagine as the breath enters in through the body,
It brings loving,
Compassionate kindness in and out through the heart,
Nourishing and revitalizing each and every cell as it travels in and out.
And then beginning to tune inward to your own inner voice.
We'll start to ask ourselves questions about what our intention may be moving forward.
What is it that I need or want or desire at this very moment?
And just allow whatever may come up for you,
Whether it's a word or an image,
Maybe color,
Even emotion or sensation,
Just allow whatever it is to reveal itself.
This isn't about having the right answer.
So just notice and witness your own experience.
What is it that I need,
Want or desire in my days ahead and into the future?
What is my heart,
My mind,
Body and spirit,
Trying to share with me?
Maybe it's something I haven't heard and haven't noticed that's been wanting to be shared with me.
What is calling me?
If I could do anything without a worldly restriction,
What would that be?
What could that look like for myself?
What would I say?
What would I do?
And to whom?
How can I make a positive difference to myself?
How can I make a positive difference to others and those around me?
What is my deepest heart's desire for myself?
What is my deepest heart's desire for my community and the world around me?
And finally,
What word,
Phrase,
Mantra or image do I need to hang on to in my days,
Months and weeks ahead to be my touchstone,
To guide me each and every moment of each and every day?
And just breathe into whatever you may have received.
Just take a moment of gratitude and appreciation for whatever may have revealed itself to you.
And then letting go and releasing anything will close our practice the same way we began.
So let's take a nice big,
Deep inhale through the nose and releasing everything through the mouth.
We'll do another one just like that in through the nose and releasing out.
And last one just for you this time,
Breathing in through the nose,
Really letting everything out.
