Hi,

This is Tamara with MindBodyNow.

I'm here to provide a relaxing few moments where you can slow down,

Allowing yourself to rest.

Find yourself in a comfortable position,

In a place where you can safely close your eyes.

This can be a break at the office,

A break at home,

Daytime,

Afternoon,

Evening.

Just see that you can put out the do not disturb sign for the next few minutes and allow yourself to let go of all of the chatter that has been your day so far.

Just come back to your center.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

Letting it out.

Again,

Following a breath just the same way.

Inhaling through the nose,

Exhale out an open mouth.

One more time.

Deep inhale.

Good.

Now continue a few more times on your own.

Inhaling through the nose.

You can exhale out the nose.

And each time you exhale,

You're allowing another bit of the chatter just to turn down its volume for a little while.

When we're in very active thought during the day,

It's common that we'll be thinking of a lot of different things at one time.

And that can become a bit overwhelming.

It's good to take a break.

Deep breath in.

Exhale out an open mouth.

The belly becomes soft.

And if they're not already,

The eyes will lightly close.

We inhale soft.

Exhale peace.

It's not like we're letting go of everything that's on our mind forever.

You can always have it back.

But just for now,

In this moment,

We're going down through the layers of thoughts,

Down right to where the heartbeat is,

And seeing if now we can tune in the breath on the inhale.

Maybe in a pause,

Noticing the feeling of the heartbeat.

Exhale.

And feeling the mouth soften.

And the jaw gets heavy.

We're just tuning into this frequency of calm.

This frequency always exists.

It's just sometimes a lot of noise gets built up around it.

And it takes us out of our more peaceful vibration.

We just want to get back there.

So continuing just to inhale deeply through the nose.

Sometimes you can let it go out an open mouth.

Other times just out through the nose.

And softening where you can.

Seeing if the jaw needs to be lowered.

Maybe your eyes have been squeezing.

You feel pressure anywhere in your face.

Start to let that go.

On the exhale,

As we lower the chatter and see the blue sky that is our true self and our shining light beneath it all.

And here we are replenishing,

Finding some new strength and vitality by letting all the chatter go by the wayside just for a little while longer.

We feel our shoulders softening away from the ears.

And we might start to lift a little bit of energy into the body by wiggling our fingers and our toes.

Right.

And then here we can add rotating the wrists and the ankles.

Deep breath in.

Let it go.

This meditation is like a pit stop or refueling so that we can take our mind and body that have been very active for a while.

Bring it back down to a restful state.

Just by breathing long and slow.

Letting the thoughts slow as well.

Until you start to find some quiet spaces in between.

The quiet spaces in between.

What can you hear then?

You are an ocean of stillness radiating and recharging.

Refreshed and ready for wherever you're headed next.

Maybe you're headed for bed.

So then I would say good night.

Or maybe it's another time of day and you just needed a few moments and you are ready to get back in.

And I thank you for stopping in to recharge with me.

Tamara.

Mind.

Body.

Now.
