Welcome to Take Care Coaching guided meditation.
To begin,
Sit upright in a comfortable stable position where you feel fully supported,
Your back neck and head are straight.
Or you can lie down on your back with some support under your knees.
Feel your eyes gently close.
Once settled,
Take a few moments to think about your workday.
Revisit what you accomplished and how you spent your time.
Now think of three things that went well in your day.
Now take a slow,
Deep breath in and a slow,
Deep breath out to bring yourself to the present moment and begin the process of transitioning from work to home.
As you slowly breathe in and out,
Start to feel more peaceful and centered.
Breathe into your belly so it expands as you breathe in and gets smaller as you breathe out.
With each breath in,
You relax your mind and body.
With each breath out,
You leave the workday behind you.
Now take a few moments to mentally scan your body for any areas where there's tightness,
Tension or soreness.
As we go about our workday,
We tend to store stress in the body as muscle tension.
So explore this now.
When you find an area that is tight or tense,
Send your breath to that area.
And as you breathe out,
Let the tension release,
Relaxing your muscles.
Move to another area of tension in the body.
With each breath in,
Send your breath to that area.
With each breath out,
Let the tension release,
Leaving the workday behind.
Simply give yourself permission to let the day go.
Before we end,
I want to thank you for watching this video.
I encourage you to continue to set aside time to process your day.
Give your mind and body space to transition so you can be fully present for your next activity.
In a moment,
I will ask you to open your eyes.
When you do,
You will have officially ended your workday,
Physical tasks as well as mental load and feel ready to shift to home life.
When you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes and take a gentle stretch if you need to.
Thank you for meditating with Take Care Coaching.
I wish you a wonderful rest of your day.
Take care.
