This meditation is called Love Through Merging and it's by Jordan McKay.
So I want you to put your attention on your heart space and just allow the breath to come breathing in and exhaling,
Breathing in and exhaling.
As you breathe in,
Allow the mind to soften and the heart to open and exhale.
One more time into that heart center,
Breathing in and exhaling.
Good.
And I want you to bring to mind a person you love,
Someone you love and just see their image in front of you.
And as you see them in front of you,
Just feel the feelings of love,
Affection and anything else.
And once you feel connected to this person,
Begin to see if you can allow yourself to feel what that person loves,
What they are attracted to,
What they care about.
Continuing to breathe.
As you see this person you love,
Allow yourself to feel what they feel,
What they love.
There's no right way or wrong way to feel this.
Just allow the love to flow in to you.
Make that feeling inside of you and just allow it to reside in your heart.
The feeling of what that person loves.
And taking another deep breath,
Breathing in and exhaling.
Now allow yourself to feel what this person fears.
What do they resist?
What do they try to run away from?
Just notice what it is and allow yourself to feel it as they do.
And then allow that feeling to enter into your chest again,
Breathing in and exhaling and just allow that feeling,
How they fear,
How they resist to just rest a moment in your chest.
And again,
Breathing in deeply and exhaling.
Now,
Allow yourself to feel what that person hopes for,
Hopes to become,
Hopes to learn,
Hopes to have.
What does that person hope for?
And feel it as they do.
Feel that hope that they have.
And again,
Allow that feeling to come inside of you and just rest in your chest.
The hope of what they want to become or learn or have in their life.
And again,
Just breathing in deeply and exhaling,
Going a little deeper.
And now with the breath,
Allow yourself to sense and begin to feel this person's pain,
The emotions that they carry,
The pain of rejection,
The pain of loss,
The pain of belief systems that cause them not to be all that they are.
Perhaps it's physical pain and just feel this person's pain.
And for a moment,
Allow yourself to bring those feelings inside and rest in your chest,
The pain that this person feels.
And taking a very deep breath again,
Breathing in and exhaling.
Now look at this person whom you love and begin to see how this person sees the world,
How this person responds to their world,
How they feel about being in the world.
And feel their experience of the world as they do,
Allowing yourself to feel it.
And then breathing that into your heart,
Into your chest,
Letting it rest there.
This person's experience of life.
With this next breath,
Notice how you feel,
Allowing the experience of this person's love and fears and hopes and pain and perception of the world.
And with the breath,
Begin to feel their essence,
Their divine nature,
Their soul,
Breathing in and exhaling,
Feeling their essence without concept or idea or plan,
Just allowing yourself to merge in love with this person.
And as you breathe them into your chest,
Allow yourself to see their truth,
Their beauty,
Their soul,
Just simply see them as they are in your heart center,
In your chest,
Allowing the breath to continue to ground you and open you.
Begin to notice how you feel,
Notice if this energy,
This essence,
This truth of who they are creates a sense of warmth or energy within you.
Just notice.
And in this moment,
Breathing a deep breath of gratitude in and out.
Breathing gratitude in for this person,
This soul,
This essence that you have allowed in,
That you have merged with in love,
Gratitude,
Breathing in and exhaling,
Gratitude,
Breathing in and exhaling,
Gratitude for your soul and the soul of this person as you are merged in love,
Feeling that love envelop you and radiate from you heart to heart as you are merged.
And then allowing your awareness with the breath to become more present in the now.
Breathing in and exhaling.
Allowing yourself to become present to the room you're in.
The chair you're sitting in.
Allowing yourself to become present to this moment.
Right here,
Right now.
Returning to your world with love.
And so it is.
Namaste.
