Awakening Your Inner Authority

Closing out the year of the snake, coming into the year of the horse, we will be shedding our old skin. Coming into a new, means coming back to self, love, light, peace, joy, curiosity, & exploration.

I do want to talk to you about awakening your inner authority as we are still feeling the effects of last year's snake energy shedding our skin that's going to be lasting until February 17th and that's when the according to the Chinese calendar new year occurs and we come into the fire horse which is going to be fast rapid it's going to be important to make sure you listen to your inner authority and pause before you make any choices or react or whatever I was talking to Kate Rose who's an amazing insightful astrologer and she always puts a positive spin on what the stars and planets and astrological stuff means which I appreciate because sometimes astrology can scare the daylights out of me because it is a science you guys astrology is a science it isn't some woo woo who who what what it's an ancient science just like Ayurvedic medicine from the East Indian culture or Chinese acupuncture from the Chinese culture so it's important to pay attention to how these things interact in your life so let's go back to the final throws of shedding your skin now this is this isn't physically shedding it is shedding what no longer works for you becoming aware all of last year was really becoming aware about what no longer works for us and then I don't know about you guys but I spent the month of November and December just trying to get out of what was for myself what my belief systems were what my assumptions and expectations were that were never were never serving me but definitely no longer serving me ever ever ever ever again expectations and assumptions don't work and my intention uh you know here I am this naive little person my intention was to get it all done by December 31st of last year well lo and behold to my chagrin on January 1st I'm like new year I'm going to just really focus on what is the thing I want what listen to my inner authority really fulfill my soul purpose all these things right but there was leftover stuff there was still a shadow like when we go through mercury and retrograde there's often a shadow mercury will go direct I don't know about you guys but I feel it intensely when mercury goes into retrograde it messes with stuff in my mind and and in my daily life but after it goes direct there's often a few days of a shadow and that's what we're experiencing there's been a few weeks of a shadow from the snake year which was all about closure endings there were lots of endings and all about releasing your past releasing it not rewinding your memories and let's take out those memories and look at them I remember when that was good or I remember when that was bad memories it's about just letting all of that go you're putting in a steamer trunk and you're at it never to be opened again Pandora's box right so because it was endings and now we're in a new year that is about beginnings we are creating co-creating but we have the choice to create for ourselves what it is we want to experience in our lives we want to see in our lives and it all starts from within within your inner guidance system pointing to my heart everybody within that guidance system it's not a it's not a head game it's not a brain let's think this out and plan and set goals and and meet quotas and that doesn't work anymore that's what we left behind do you get that that's what we left behind and so we're in this brand new free floating space if you will where we get to really really claim our own authority not someone else's but claim our own authority and that authority isn't again in the head where I'm going to make it this way that authority is what is within you that leads you that guides you if you listen it is intuition it is ancient wisdom that resides within all of ourselves everybody ancient wisdom resides within everybody's cells it's just a matter of are you paying attention to it do you even want to acknowledge that the lineage you come from each and every human being on the planet whatever country you're in we all have our own personal divine lineage as well as our familial lineage and how do you want to I'm hearing the word propagate how do you want to move forward how do you want to propagate that lineage do you want to keep doing the same old same old or as Greg Braden said in his latest book I'm reading it's obsolete thinking do you want to continue obsolete thinking here in a brand new year where it is beginning a new era it is beginning a new nine-year cycle if you will do you want to continue to do what was so this is important I want you all to really ask yourself that question did have I enjoyed what's happening in the world or what's happening in my life is it bringing me greater comfort and peace of mind am I happy am I healthy if the answer to any of those is yes I say good for you but if the answer to any of those is no then it is really time to take yourself in hand to sit your butt in the seat or the cushion or stand in the grass to ground yourself and ask yourself what is my inner and inner authority how do I access it what if I listen to me first what if I listen to myself first that's huge that's important because we have been taught for centuries for centuries I use the word indoctrinated but centuries beyond 2, 000 years to listen to others that somebody else has the idea that somebody has else has the rule book that somebody else knows what's better for me we've been taught that globally and and especially here in America so what and who are you listening to so that's the first factor take a do a check with yourself we're going to go from the outer to the inner okay do a check with yourself again hopefully you did it all last year and went oh good god no and delete delete delete what are you listening to who are you listening to the the the media feeds the news sources the scientific data all of that claims to be true and it doesn't matter where it's coming from they're saying oh my idea is true no my idea is true this is true this is true I was gonna I was gonna say I call bullshit but okay I said it because the lines of truth have blurred so much that it is that that blurring you know my hands are going back and forth it's it's creating a wave a dynamic wave of energy that is messing with us and so in that wave of energy it's important to ground yourself within yourself and ask what do I truly believe what is my truth where is my inner authority and what is it wanting me to do what is it trying to tell me so as we tune into that intuition or guidance or wisdom you'll get answers that may be surprising you'll get answers that might cause you or invite you to push your own envelope to go beyond who you thought you were or what you could do to move beyond what has existed up until now and what has existed up until now is obsolete it's obsolete thinking as great braden said it doesn't work it probably worked at the very beginning when some people thought it was a good idea to control the masses but now you have to ask yourself do I want to be controlled by other people or do I want to seek and live my own destiny my own soul purpose soul s-o-u-l purpose now that is what I've committed my life to that is what I call people to investigate and become more honest with themselves because when we become honest with ourselves we can then listen more to our inner authority and that inner authority comes from a place of alignment aligning to your higher self aligning to the the divinity whatever I call it source energy whatever that is for you aligning to it within yourself not because people are telling you that's what you do not because people are saying you know whatever it is you're listening to you have to investigate within yourself where is that inner alignment for me and I would suggest it resides in your heart when we open our hearts more there is more light there is more love there is more compassion there is more happiness and there is more peace because all that stuff resides within our bodies within our very cells it resides within us because we are a part of the divine we are the light we are the love we are the people so that's why it's important to take time daily especially as we're closing out this year the snake to really see what else is holding me back is anything holding me back what is the stuff okay so Kate Rose mentioned to me it was kind of gross but I'm going to tell you anyway that when a snake sheds its skin it has it's very uncomfortable very painful but it has to shed its skin so it can grow and what happens is sometimes the skin that's been shed retains pieces of the snake now that's kind of gross but do you want those pieces do you really need those pieces that are going away with what you shed what you want to leave behind for me I don't want those pieces they've brought me they've brought me to where and who I am now but I want to be free to be more of me and I hope all of you want to be more of you and I'm finding the best way is to align with source energy through breath through intentionality through meditation or being in nature and feeling that energy seeing that energy in the greenness or the blueness or whatever you're looking at in nature and and taking it in allowing it to come in so it is about getting out of your head it is about not seeking advice asking other people what they think that you should do well I guess that's advice huh not listening to social media things post memes not listening to the news because whatever's happening that gets your go gets you going gets you upset is not of the highest good for you it's not serving you so it's about coming back to self coming back to the energy that you came in with when you were born which was love and light and peace and joy and curiosity and exploration so awakening your inner authority requires exploration it might require journaling out the garbage any garbage any residual snake stuff journaling it out to decide so you get to decide you are your own authority so you get to decide how do I want to move forward who am I now that's a big question we always ask as light leaders who am I now because we're always always living and moving in a dynamic universe a dynamic energy system that changes us and shifts us and it's important that we pay attention to that that we are changed we are changed so awakening your inner authority the reason why I also feel that it's important is because many of us are soaking up the energies that are happening around the world and we are and the thing is it's making people ill it's making people angry it's making people fearful and that's not that's not healthy for anybody and as we continue to look at the outside world because we think it's something important that we got to pay attention to we're soaking up that negative energy we're soaking up that low vibration that low frequency that many people have been living in do you want to keep your system your energy your personal energy system at a low frequency or a high frequency now I would invite you to investigate how high you are in your frequencies how high you can go because that what is needed now on planet earth what is needed now for humanity is a higher frequency a higher vibration of love love love and if you're getting tripped up or upset because you you're watching a you know videos over and over again about who done what to whom that's not healthy that only makes people more and more divided and angry and in order to achieve a higher frequency of love you have to shut that down so you have to close my somatic healer scott clover was explaining to me it's about closing the aperture closing down what you're looking at closing down if you're empathic which most everybody is they just don't know it closing down the aperture of your empathy so you're not soaking up all the trauma drama that's happening around the world and and the reason why you want to do that i've been attempting to do that since the end of last year closing that empathy aperture closing it down lowering it to just a small amount because that's the only way i'm going to really get to know me when you are so far flung with empathy all you're doing is feeling other people's energies and then that is so uh i'm talking for myself but i think there's lots of people out there that feel this when when i'm open full blast uh empathically i feel other people's energies it's helpful as a healer to tune in but i experience it in my body and it and it goes through my body and it goes through my mental state and it goes through my etheric state even and so i'm not even dealing with me i'm constantly trying to figure out how can i help that person or fix that thing or move beyond it or change it or does this sound right to people are you guys are you like trying to figure out how you can change what's happening in the world how you can fix it how you can delete it or how you can multiply it are you know because that is you not in your body that is you not really listening to you you're listening to outer authorities that have now revved us all up over the last 10 years more more probably decade century whatever to listen to what they to listen to what makes you fearful so you will then make choices that outer authorities other people will tell you to do and you because if you are if you're listening to these our authorities i want you to ask yourself am i scared am i fearful because if you are then that's not that's not a place of coherence within yourself that is not a place of residing with your within yourself because fear puts a veil over what you can actually hear and see it doesn't serve you and it will cause you to make choices that are not healthy for you your neighbors your friends your countrymen not healthy for the world because of fear and that's what's being propagated up until now fear so that you are still manageable and able to be manipulated by others outside of you who think they know better or who think that you will do what they want you to do so they can get what they want not not not for you not for you it's not for you it's for someone else so for me i really want to know the truth of my being and who i am and i want to be me without this open aperture of empathy i want to be able to observe what's happening in the world but not have it trigger me into reaction or into fear or into anger i want to be able to observe it so i can make choices that are best for myself for myself so yeah awakening your inner authority awakening it living by it listening to it i don't see why not i just don't see why not so once again until next time and so it is namaste
