Welcome to this guided meditation.
I'm Susan Berg.
This meditation is designed to help you end negative self-talk and to arrive at a deep level of self-acceptance through the process of repeating I am affirmations.
Make sure you are in a comfortable position,
Either lying down with your hands by your side or seated with your back straight and feet flat on the ground.
Gently close your eyes and take a moment to settle your mind.
We will begin this meditation by focusing on our breath.
Slow breathing will help us to feel calm and relaxed,
Allowing healing energies to flow.
Take a slow deep breath in,
Taking in as much air as you can and then holding your breath for two counts before slowly exhaling through the mouth,
Feeling the air leave your body.
Slowly breathe in,
Hold for two counts and gently breathe out,
Taking slightly longer with the outward breath.
Continue breathing deeply for a while.
Now continue breathing in a way that feels relaxed and comfortable for you,
Allowing your breath and mind to ground you into the present moment and permitting yourself to let go of all thoughts and worries.
By repeating affirmations over and over,
We are reprogramming our brain to override limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging thoughts with sentiments that are positive and empowering.
We will repeat each affirmation four times to help ingrain the positive statements into our psyche.
