Welcome to this guided meditation.
I'm Susan Berg.
This meditation focuses on building self-love and self-acceptance through the process of repeating positive affirmations.
Make sure you are in a comfortable position,
Either laying down with your hands by your side or seated with your back straight and feet flat on the ground.
Gently close your eyes and just take a few moments to settle your mind.
We will begin this meditation by focusing on our breath.
Slow breathing will help us to feel calm and relaxed,
Allowing healing energies to flow.
Take a slow deep breath in,
Then hold your breath for two counts before slowly exhaling through the mouth.
Slowly breathe in,
Hold for two counts and then gently breathe out,
Taking slightly longer with the outward breath.
Continue breathing deeply for a while,
Allowing your body and mind to come to a state of complete relaxation.
Our repeating affirmations,
We're reprogramming our brain to override limiting beliefs and negative thoughts with sentiments that are positive and empowering.
Repeat each affirmation after me,
Either out loud or quietly within your mind.
I feel pride in myself.
I honour my own life path.
I love who I am.
I live according to my own expectations and not the expectations of others.
I celebrate my many successes.
I deserve all the wonderful things that happen to me.
I forgive my past mistakes knowing that no one is perfect.
I have a kind and caring heart.
I deserve love.
I truly love myself for who I am.
I am a person who I am.
I have a positive attitude and outlook on life.
I celebrate the wonderful person that I am.
I enjoy spending time alone.
I respect myself and others.
I am a person who is always there for others.
I have all I need to live a happy life.
I learn and grow through my failings and mistakes.
I rejoice in being me.
I love and accept my body just as it is today.
I feel at peace with my appearance.
I have a warm heart that shows empathy and compassion.
I accept myself as I am.
I feel pride in my accomplishments and celebrate my successes.
I accept compliments easily.
I radiate confidence,
Self-respect and inner harmony.
I choose to be grateful for all that I have.
I attract wonderful people into my life.
My confidence is building.
My decisions are based on my personal values.
I am a person who is always there for others.
My struggles give me the opportunity to learn and grow.
My loving body serves me well.
My voice is valuable and my opinion matters.
My mind is filled only with loving and positive thoughts.
Love flows through me in the face of difficulty.
Every step I take is one of courage.
As we bring this meditation to a close,
Feel a deep level of pride and inner strength,
Making choices that will help develop positive change in your life.
I encourage you to listen to these affirmations for at least 21 days in a row,
As doing so will ingrain these positive statements into your psyche and help you to build confidence and self-love.
