Welcome to today's talk,
Financial freedom and abundance.
It seems we all want more and there's never enough.
How many of us buy into this mindset of needing more?
Have you ever thought about what financial abundance means to you?
When we don't take time to really examine what financial freedom and abundance means to us,
Then we can fall into this unconscious mindset of always having to have more.
And that sense of more is ambiguous.
It's just a huge black hole that we can get lost in when we don't take time to stop and check where we're really at,
What we truly have and what we need to feel financially free.
Why do we struggle so much with money?
Why is it so hard for so many people?
Why is money a triggering topic?
The fundamental misconception of scarcity on this abundant planet is that the root of all our global problems.
Lynn Twist,
This idea,
This belief of scarcity that I can have at your expense or if somebody else has something,
I can't have it.
That there's just a limited supply that's available including money and that we have to fight and compete in order to have the sense of prosperity.
Is that really true?
Is what we believe in about scarcity and abundance true?
True.
So it's really crucial,
It is critical for us to deeply contemplate our own beliefs,
Our own past experiences of money as well as our thoughts,
Feelings and emotions.
If you're like many of us who are about to do their taxes,
Submit the money deposit for the IRS,
Perhaps you feel that swirl of anxiety that comes over you.
Every time you have to open your bank account,
Look at your statements,
Pay your bills,
Have you ever noticed acutely how you feel when you're doing that?
Looking at our own ideas,
Our own deep-seated beliefs,
Our collective beliefs of scarcity and abundance to understand these two same sides of a coin intimately for ourselves so that we can have a healthy relationship and understanding of money,
Prosperity and personal wealth.
Are our ideas about scarcity and abundance really true?
Is it really me versus you that there's only a limited mount?
Maybe in some cases it's true for some things,
But do we over worry?
Do we throw unnecessary fear into not being able to get our needs met?
Think about all that precious energy that we expend toward money.
What is our energy with that?
Do you believe there is enough for everyone to have a healthy relationship?
To have a healthy and productive life?
Do you believe there is enough for everyone to have a healthy,
Fulfilled,
Productive life?
This is what Buckminster Fuller expressed that yes,
Actually we do have enough for everyone to have a healthy,
Fulfilled and productive life.
So how do you feel about money?
What are your feelings about it?
Do you believe that you're bad at money?
Do you feel confident about your money-making abilities,
Your ability to manage money,
Accumulate wealth?
How do you feel about people who have money?
Do you have judgments,
Thoughts,
Perceptions,
About people with money?
Are they bad people that had to tear other people down to get what they wanted?
Just noticing those subtle thoughts because when we judge others,
We send that subconscious belief right back toward ourselves.
So that could block us from having money if we think people with money aren't spiritual or aren't good.
What is your desire for money?
What are your feelings about your desire for money?
Are you afraid when it comes to money?
Do you have a lot of fear?
Or do you have confidence in your ability to generate wealth?
And more importantly,
Are these feelings and ideas,
Are they grounded?
Are they true?
What does financial freedom and abundance mean to you?
If I were to ask you now,
What does that mean to you?
How would you define that for yourself?
Is it a certain dollar amount in your bank account?
Perhaps it's freedom to do what you love whenever you wanna do it.
Or it's a way of living and being.
Perhaps it's not being controlled by the idea of money and letting money have power over you,
Your actions and your behavior.
What is your relationship to money?
How would you describe that relationship?
Is it a healthy one or could it use some work?
Is it tense?
Is it gripped,
Anxious?
Or does it feel relaxed and easygoing?
Like it just flows in and flows out effortlessly.
And there's no judgment.
We're just noticing how we are with money.
What kind of relationship and beliefs would you want to choose to have about money?
Just like any relationship in your life,
How would you intentionally want to have that relationship?
And how would you choose to feel about it,
Think about it and believe about money and financial freedom?
And what if your energy with money was a spiritual practice?
That money is a symbol,
It's a form of exchange.
It's a form of value,
The value we give,
The value that we receive.
And what if we used money as an opportunity to notice our own hidden fears and judgments,
Our self doubts or our confidence,
Just noticing what's true for us in our body when we think about money,
When we have to talk about it,
When we say,
This is what I'm worth.
These are my rates,
This is my price.
And being present with anything that arises so that we can choose to come back to our center,
Our breath,
Kindly remind ourselves that we're here and we're okay.
And that we can actually learn how to reprogram and reconfigure our own ideas about money that we can become empowered,
Feel confident,
Secure,
Happy about money and money flow.
Thank you so much for learning about financial freedom and abundance.
