The focus is on the deeper breath of about 5 count, in and out of the heart center. Take a moment and think about and feel a positive elevated emotion: Person, place, event, pet, thing, something that brings a natural smile to your face.

Welcome.

Before we begin our meditation today,

I want you to take a moment and think about and also feel a positive elevated emotion.

So what is that positive elevated emotion?

That could be thinking of someone you love,

Someone you care for,

An event that brings you happiness,

Joy.

It could even be your pet,

Your dog,

Or even sometimes a meme or a video that you saw that even just thinking about it brings a natural smile to your face.

So whatever that event,

Person,

Place,

Or thing is for you,

Keep that in your memory bank.

So then when I ask you to feel the positive elevated emotion,

I want you to go back,

Remember,

And feel in that moment so you're reliving a positive moment in your life.

Let's begin.

Bringing awareness to your natural breath.

There is no need to make any changes at all.

You're just taking this moment observing your natural breath,

Observing your natural inhalation and the exhale.

Let's take a moment here.

As you observe your natural breath,

I want you to internally count.

So as you inhale,

Is your natural breath count maybe a one,

Two,

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Or maybe it's a three count.

So observing the count of your natural breath.

And now we're going to take a moment to transition into a deeper breath.

I want to do a five count.

I'm going to go ahead and count out loud so you can feel what a five count breath feels like.

Let's exhale.

Inhale,

One thousand one,

One thousand two,

One thousand three,

One thousand four,

One thousand five.

Exhale,

One thousand one,

One thousand two,

One thousand three,

One thousand four,

One thousand five.

Again to yourself,

Deeper breath on a five count on the inhale and a five count on your exhale.

Deep breath in,

Deep exhalation out on a five count.

I want you to continue that just a couple more cycle of five count deep breath on your own cycle.

Now bring your awareness to the center of the chest,

Your heart center,

The fourth chakra.

Inhaling in and out,

Five count through the center of the chest.

Feeling the expansion of the breath into the chest,

Into the heart,

The lungs.

Feeling the release of the breath.

Deep slow breath in and out through the center of the chest.

Now let's recall,

Remember,

And feel the positive elevated emotion.

Whatever that may be for you,

It can be a place,

A person,

An event,

Your pet,

An object.

When you're remembering and feeling that positive elevated emotion,

It brings you happiness,

Joy,

A natural smile that comes to your face.

Breathing in and out deeply through the center of the chest,

Feeling that elevated emotion.

And now let's return to your natural breath,

Taking a moment to just check back in with yourself.

How do you feel now in this moment after this meditation?

This is a quick guided,

Similar to a heart math technique,

Connecting to your heart center and to a positive elevated emotion.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Have a great day.

This came at the right time. I have an assignment to focus on my elevated emotions at least 4 times throughout the day everyday so I enjoyed this and will be using this to help me with my assignment. Thank you!
