Welcome to the story,

Whispers of the Sunset Lake.

Take a slow breath in and gently breathe out.

Start to feel your body relaxing.

When you feel ready,

Close your eyes and the story will begin.

The sky stretches wide above you,

Painted in soft shades of pink,

Gold and lavender,

Like a gentle watercolour spilling across the horizon.

You find yourself standing at the edge of a wooden pontoon,

Warm from the fading sun,

Each step carrying a calm,

Soothing rhythm.

Candles flicker along the sides of the pontoon,

Their golden flames mirrored perfectly in the still water,

Creating tiny dancing stars that seem to welcome you.

As you step forward,

The wooden planks feel solid and comforting beneath your feet.

The water laps quietly at the edges,

Reflecting the sky above in smooth,

Rippling colours.

You settle yourself at the end of the pontoon,

Cross-legged,

Feeling the warmth of the wood beneath you and the gentle glow of the candles surrounding you.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in and let it out fully,

Softening your shoulders,

Unclenching your jaw,

Letting your body sink into the surface beneath you.

The lake itself seems alive,

Place them gently on the surface of the lake.

Watch as the water accepts them willingly,
