Hello and welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
Tonight you're giving yourself a gift.
The gift of rest,
Of peace,
Of simply being.
Let's begin by getting comfortable.
Whether you're lying in bed or curled up somewhere cozy,
Take a moment to let your body settle.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw relax.
Let your hands rest gently at your sides.
Take a slow deep breath in and gently breathe out.
Again breathe in and breathe out.
Let go of the day.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to be,
Just this moment right here.
Let's take one more deep breath in and slowly let it go.
Now imagine each part of your body softening,
Melting into your bed.
Starting from the top of your head,
Down through your neck,
Your chest,
Your arms,
Your stomach,
Your legs,
All the way to your feet.
Feel the weight of your body gently sinking down.
As your breath becomes slower and softer you begin to drift into a peaceful state between waking and dreaming.
Let's take a journey.
Imagine you are standing in front of a gate.
It's tall,
Made of winding silver vines,
Glistening under the soft glow of moonlight.
As you gently push it open it creaks just slightly and a cool fragrant breeze welcomes you in.
You've arrived at the night garden.
This garden only appears at night,
Hidden from the eyes of the waking world and you've been invited here.
The path beneath your feet is soft,
Made of moss and stardust.
With every step you feel lighter,
Calmer and more at ease.
To your left there's a tree with leaves like crystals.
They shimmer as they move in the breeze,
Each one chiming like a soft bell.
The sound makes you feel safe,
Like everything is exactly as it should be.
You keep walking.
There are glowing flowers that bloom in slow motion,
Petal by petal,
Opening to the rhythm of your breath.
Some are the color of the ocean at twilight,
Others sparkle with hints of purple and gold.
In the center of the garden is a small pond.
Its surface is perfectly still,
Reflecting the stars above.
You kneel beside it and look into the water.
Instead of your reflection you see a peaceful version of yourself,
Smiling,
Calm,
Grounded.
This reflection seems to whisper to you,
You are enough,
You are growing,
You are exactly where you need to be.
Let that sink in,
Take a deep breath and feel that truth filling your chest.
Then something catches your eye in the water.
Just beneath the surface you see a soft glowing light,
A crystal resting gently on a smooth stone.
It glows with a color that feels perfect for you.
Maybe it's sky blue or deep violet.
Or a gentle amber gold.
You reach into the cool clear water and lift the crystal into your hand.
The moment you touch it a gentle warmth begins to spread through your fingers,
Up your arm and into your chest.
It's as if the crystal recognizes you.
Its energy feels protective,
Comforting,
Powerful.
This crystal is meant just for you.
It carries a quiet strength,
One that will stay with you not just here but when you return to waking life.
A kind of invisible shield you can always carry,
A source of peace,
Of safety,
Of quiet confidence.
You hold it to your heart and feel a calm glow pulsing softly within you.
A whisper comes,
Quiet and reassuring.
You are protected,
You are strong and you are never alone.
You smile and tuck the crystal close,
Knowing it will stay with you always.
Suddenly soft fireflies begin to gather.
They glow in blues and silvers creating patterns in the air,
Spiraling gently,
Playfully.
They don't buzz or bother,
They simply dance.
One lands gently on your shoulder,
It hums a warm tiny tune just for you.
It's a lullaby meant to help you sleep,
Meant to help you let go.
You lie down in the grass feeling perfectly safe in this magical garden.
The stars above shimmer a little brighter now and the moon smiles softly down at you.
The garden begins to fade,
Not because it's disappearing but because you are sinking deeper into sleep.
The moss beneath you turns into a soft cloud,
The air is thick with the scent of lavender and dream dust.
You are floating now,
You are safe,
You are loved.
Let yourself drift now,
There's no need to hold on to anything,
No need to think or try,
Just breathe softly,
Gently.
Let sleep take you.
If thoughts come,
Let them pass like clouds in the night sky.
Return to the feeling of floating,
To the comfort of the garden,
To the stillness of the pond.
Feel how good it is to rest,
How natural it is to sleep.
You are okay,
You are more than okay.
You are on a journey toward your dreams now.
Goodnight traveller.
Sleep well.
