This simple, practical visualization emerged from my one-on-one work with clients. They've found it to be effective in helping rebalance their energy system, alleviating acute stress or anxiety, preparing for meetings or presentations, and so on. It works directly with the innate intelligence of your body to support regulation and balancing. Sometimes, it's as simple as pressing a button. Hope you find it useful!

Hello everybody and welcome to this guided visualization that is designed to help you balance the energy system of your body.

This is something that's really practical that I developed in working with clients over the years.

They found it really helpful for things like alleviating stress,

Preparing for big presentations or meetings,

Or just as energetic hygiene throughout the day.

So hopefully you'll find it really useful as well.

To begin,

I'll invite you to sit in a way that feels comfortable to you.

Once you find a comfortable position,

We'll begin by bringing some really gentle attention to the breath,

Being aware as you breathe in that this is you breathing in,

And being aware as you breathe out that this is you breathing out.

And as you breathe with this gentle awareness,

You can also bring a little bit of awareness to the quality of your breathing.

Is your breath coming slowly or quickly?

Does it feel open and flowing or tight and restricted?

Whatever you notice is exactly right.

There's nothing to change.

We're just observing.

And I'll invite you to slow the breath down just a little bit.

And now we'll take a breath together.

Nice,

Slow breath in.

You can release it with a sigh.

And with that sigh,

You can come a little bit more into your body.

So allowing yourself to notice how your body feels in this moment.

Does it feel energized,

Heavy?

What areas in your body feel open and awake?

And which areas may feel a little bit tight or constricted,

Maybe the shoulders or the hips?

Again,

We're just building a map of our body.

And if you find that while you were noticing your body,

You stopped breathing,

You can just bring your attention back to the breath.

Being aware as you breathe in that you're breathing in.

And being aware as you breathe out that you're breathing out.

And again,

Together,

A nice,

Slow breath in.

And release.

Now,

As we continue to breathe,

I'll invite you just to become aware of your body's energetic system.

Everywhere the breath goes,

Everywhere oxygen goes,

Everywhere blood flows and cells vibrate.

Is part of that energetic system.

When we experience stress,

When we experience anxiety or pressure,

All of those emotions and sensations have an impact on our energy body,

On the way energy flows through our system.

So,

I'll just invite you to become aware of your body as a system of energy,

Of vibration,

Movement.

And as we bring that awareness,

You can begin to become aware of those places where the energy in the system is moving in a harmonious way,

And areas in the system where the energy may be a little bit dysregulated.

And see if you can just allow this awareness to come in without thinking about it too much.

So,

If you feel your eyes kind of close-knit or your jaw tensing,

See if you can allow that to release.

And we'll take another breath together,

Breathing in and releasing with a sigh.

Now,

I'll invite you to imagine that the energy system of your body appears in front of you like a three-dimensional hologram.

So,

It'll have the outline of your body,

But instead of seeing your skin and your features or even your muscles or skeleton,

What we're asking to appear is the energy system of your body.

And you can choose to have it appear in front of you full-sized or smaller or larger.

But we're going to ask this hologram to show us all the ways in which our energy system is in balance,

Is out of balance,

Just like a diagnostic map.

And we'll just take a few moments to observe that.

It may shift.

You can ask for a different to be color-coded.

You can have a little bit of fun with this if you want to.

Just allowing the hologram to reveal all the details of the energy systems in your body.

And as you observe this hologram,

You may feel it reflected in your own physical body.

And we'll take another breath together,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Now,

I want you to imagine that in the lower left corner,

Just to the lower left of that hologram of your body's energy system,

There's a button.

And that button,

In big bold letters,

Says,

Balance the system.

So notice what color the button is.

Notice the font of those words,

Balance the system.

Now,

On the count of three,

We're going to go ahead and press that balance the system button.

One,

Two,

Three,

And press the button.

So watch the hologram and notice how those areas that may have been constricted or out of balance are affected by pressing the button.

Notice how when you press the button,

The hologram shifts,

And any of those areas that may have felt inflamed or sluggish,

Constricted,

Or moving too fast,

Begin to shift into a new relationship,

A more balanced relationship with themselves and each other.

And you can maybe feel that same balancing taking place in your physical body.

As we press the button,

The hologram balances,

The energy in our body balances.

You can bring that hologram kind of back into your body,

Bringing your attention back to your breath,

And taking a moment to notice anything that may have shifted in the last few minutes as we balanced your energy.

One more time,

Nice slow breath in,

And release.

And seeing what happens.
