Good evening.
My name is Steph and I am so grateful to have you here at the end of a long day.
This is a guided meditation intended to help you relieve tension and release the day for a very good night's sleep.
Let's begin tonight's meditation by getting nice and comfortable in our bed.
Allow yourself to settle into this moment,
Finding gratitude for having nothing left to do but be here,
Unwinding ahead of a peaceful,
Restorative sleep.
If your eyes are still open,
I invite you to close them.
Taking a few deep breaths in and out.
As you inhale,
Feeling the fresh,
Cool oxygen traveling through your body,
Cleansing each and every one of your cells with its primordial healing energy.
With each exhale,
Allowing any stress and tension to just gently leave your body.
This is your time to let it all go and relax.
Taking a few more breaths,
Begin scanning your body from head to toe.
Feeling any pressure or tightness or pain that exists in any areas of your body.
Provide healing and relaxation to these areas.
Imagining these feelings of tension and tightness just melting away with each and every exhale.
Feeling the tension traveling away from your body,
Out into the atmosphere like threads unraveling and releasing into the air.
Begin to breathe,
Continuing to relax,
Focusing on your breath and feeling the softness that comes with it.
And as you do this,
Just allowing yourself to let go of any worries or concerns about the coming day.
That day's not here yet.
Feeling a sense of peace washing over your mind,
Washing over your body,
Starting from the crown of your head and down to the soles of your feet.
And now,
Imagine yourself being supported by a mattress of clouds beneath you.
You are suspended in air,
Floating on top of the cushion's warmth and softness.
Feeling comfortable,
Cozy and secure.
Allowing yourself to melt into them.
Allowing yourself to become one with them.
As you continue to breathe slowly,
Bring your attention to your third eye between your eyebrows.
As you bring your attention here,
Begin visualizing a white light radiating from your third eye.
As this white light radiates outward,
Observe it filling your entire crown,
Traveling down through your neck,
Past your shoulders,
All the way down through your heart,
Your solar plexus and your sacral chakras,
All the way down through your root chakra and into the rest of your body.
Feel it nourishing,
Nurturing and calming your entire being as it fills your body with lucid surrender.
Feel the warmth of this white light as it works its magic,
Relieving any tension and soothing your mind.
With each breath you take,
Slowly exhale and release some of the white light back into the universe.
Release this white light to the universe as a token of gratitude for its support and the rest that you are about to enjoy.
Noticing any thoughts and worries with each breath,
Bringing your body into an even deeper state of relaxation.
With each breath,
Just watch as the white light dims and eventually vanishes,
Leaving you in a deep state of relaxation,
Leaving you empty,
Free and unburdened by any worries or stress.
You are safe in this moment and nothing can disturb you here.
And now that you have released all of your worries,
Feel the warmth of your bed and let yourself drift off into a peaceful sleep.
