Hello my love.
Welcome to this guided reset for deep restoration.
This isn't just a meditation,
This is intended to be a guided reset to help you reconnect,
Release tension,
Restore your energy,
And most importantly,
Reclaim your right to rest.
So take a moment to get comfortable.
Whether you're sitting or lying down,
Just find a space where you can fully relax,
A place where you feel supported,
And just let your body settle and allow yourself to breathe deeply without any rush.
Maybe grab some pillows,
Maybe grab a blanket,
And as you start to soften into your space,
I want you to know that it's okay to let go.
In this moment there truly is no need to do anything.
There's no need to prove anything,
To be anything,
Except exactly who you are right now.
And so feel your breath moving in and out,
Just notice it.
No need to change anything,
Just be with it.
Breathe in and breathe out,
Letting go of anything that you do not need right now.
This moment is for you and you don't have to earn rest.
It's yours,
Always.
As you continue to breathe,
I invite you to notice how your body feels.
Feel your shoulders dropping,
Your hands softening,
And just imagine each breath helping you to let go of any tension you're carrying or any pressure to keep going or push forward.
It's so easy to feel guilty about resting,
Right?
Maybe you feel like you should be doing something else.
But rest is essential,
My love.
Rest is not a luxury.
Rest is necessary for your well-being.
It's how we restore ourselves.
It's how we heal.
And right now I want you to give yourself permission to rest.
No questions asked.
Just give yourself that space.
Allow yourself to let go of any shoulds,
Any coulds.
This is truly your moment to simply be.
And now just take another slow,
Deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine releasing any guilt or hesitation you might be feeling in this moment.
Just let it go,
Just like that.
And with every exhale,
Feel yourself becoming a little lighter,
A little softer.
Now I want you to imagine something with me.
Picture yourself wrapped in a soft glowing light.
It is warm and soothing.
It feels like a gentle embrace and it's surrounding you with comfort and safety.
This light is here to remind you that rest is not a sign of weakness.
It's quite the opposite.
It's a sign of strength because in rest we gather the energy we need to rise again,
To be our fullest selves.
So let that soft warm light fill you up from the top of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes.
Feel it moving through your body,
Helping you relax even deeper,
Washing away any tension,
Any stress.
Again,
You don't have to do anything right now.
Just be here,
Present with yourself.
You are so worthy of this rest.
You don't need to be productive in this moment.
All you need to do is breathe and receive.
Now as you continue to rest here,
Let's gently remind ourselves of a few truths.
You are worthy of rest.
You deserve to slow down without guilt.
Rest is how you restore.
Rest is how you heal.
When you rest,
You are honoring your body and your spirit.
And when you're ready,
Take a moment to repeat these affirmations with me,
Either out loud or to yourself.
I give myself permission to rest.
I am worthy of deep restorative rest.
I release any guilt or shame around slowing down.
My body knows how to rest and it is safe to do so.
I trust that rest will help me rise again,
Stronger and more whole.
Let these words sink in.
Feel them settle into your heart.
You are worthy of rest,
Just as you are.
And now,
Take one more deep breath in,
Feeling the softness of the moment.
Know that rest will always be there for you.
You can return to it whenever you need.
And each time you rest,
You are giving yourself the care that you deserve.
I am so proud of you for taking this time for yourself.
You are doing exactly what you need just by being here.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and return to your space with a peaceful heart,
Knowing that you've taken the time to nourish yourself.
Thanks so much for making time to share space with me today.
Thanks so much for making time to create space for yourself.
You are enough,
Just as you are.
