Hello and welcome to this meditation for balancing the inner conflict between two parts in you.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable place and make sure you will not be disturbed for the next few minutes and when you're ready you can close your eyes and just let your whole body to relax in this moment.
And now think about that inner conflict in you where you experience two different and usually opposite needs.
For example you might feel like one part of you wants to do one thing and then another part of you really doesn't and it might want to do the opposite thing.
With both of these energies being very strong in what they want,
The way that you feel them.
So identify the two conflicting parts within you right now and reach out your left hand and imagine that you put one of these two parts on your left hand along with all of its beliefs,
Emotions and thoughts.
And then imagine that you do the same with the other part when you put it on your right hand.
So now you have one part with all of its emotions,
Beliefs and thoughts on your left hand and then you have the other part placed on your right hand along with everything that it feels and believes and is thinking about.
And just focus on one of these two parts for now.
See how this part that you focused on feels and what is it that it wants to share with you.
Maybe notice how it looks or how it presents itself to you right now.
More importantly,
Listen to what it has to say to you.
Ask it what does it do for you and what its role is of being there.
What is it its positive intent for being in your system?
Now focus on the other part on your other hand.
Check in with this one,
See how it feels and hear what it has to share with you.
What is this one's role in your system?
Can you ask it what is its positive intent for being there?
Now maybe ask this part,
Does it see how the qualities of the other part could potentially be useful for the intent of this one?
Let it show you.
And now imagine that you move once more to the other part and ask this one if it can see how the qualities of the other part can be useful for this one's intent as well.
Now ask both parts if they can secure on an agreement,
Not a compromise,
Of how they can combine their resources to achieve their purpose.
The reason why we don't want a compromise is because we don't want any of these two parts to suppress how they feel or their qualities but rather we are seeking for an agreement of collaboration in terms of them combining their qualities together.
When that feels complete bring both of your hands together at the same time and connect them as both of these parts become one within your system.
And now place your combined hands on your heart and imagine these two parts as one force.
When you're ready start slowly coming back to the space that you're in.
Feel your body and the environment,
Open your eyes and return.
