Through this process, you will explore new perspectives and cultivate a deeper sense of understanding, allowing for greater clarity and connection. This can be applied to any type/kind of relationship with another person.

Hello and welcome to this meditation.

This was created to help you navigate a relationship in your life that you would like to improve but there is something that keeps getting in the way between you and that person.

So to begin with,

Find a comfortable space where you can relax and close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and when you breathe out let everything go and relax in this moment.

And now bring to your awareness that person with whom you would like to improve your relationship with.

You may have recently felt like you are falling out with them or you may have been arguing frequently or not meeting each other where you would like.

So as you think of them,

See that you have them in front of you and imagine that moment in time where you are with them but you may be feeling like something is bothering you or something is off.

And so as you see them in front of you,

Notice what is it that you are seeing.

See any images or visuals if that's available for you right now.

Maybe you see them standing in front of you or maybe you see them doing something specific.

And then observe what it is that you are hearing.

What are they saying?

And now observe how is it that you are feeling towards them in that moment.

What comes up for you?

And how is it that you are interpreting that other person?

How are you experiencing them?

See how it is that you feel and how is it that you behave in that moment with them.

Just note whatever is coming up as information.

And now imagine that you come out of yourself for a moment and you are walking around and behind that person and you step into them so that you become them.

And so now you are looking at yourself while you are being that person.

What do you observe?

Are these same feelings there as before?

What is it that you want being this person now?

What are you experiencing with yourself being opposite you now?

Take a few minutes to tell yourself that is now across you and you are being in that person's position.

What you as being that person want from yourself.

Now imagine that you are walking back away from that person and go towards a spot where you can see the two people of that scene.

So you can now see the person and yourself but you are sitting somewhere in the middle and you can see both of them.

How do you feel by looking at them?

What is it that you are seeing here just by looking at them?

What are some insights about this interaction that are now available to you?

And now go back to yourself in that scene where you started from and enter back into yourself.

See what has changed,

If anything.

Do you still feel the same way?

Now start bringing your awareness slowly back into the present moment and your current self,

Bringing with you any insights that you had during this practice.

Start feeling your body in the surface that you are on.

And when you are ready open your eyes.

Hopefully now you will have gained some access to the bigger picture of this situation that will help your interaction with this person.
