So we'll start by taking a couple of deep breaths together,
One in through the nose and out through the mouth.
One more in through the nose and out through the mouth.
If you haven't already,
Begin to soften the gaze of your eyes until they're fully closed.
Just beginning to settle into your body,
Allowing your breath to deepen and to slow down.
Again,
Another deep breath in and let it go.
Allow your body to arrive and allow your mind to begin to slow down.
Just being present in this moment.
Tonight,
Stepping into the work,
Not through effort,
But through awareness.
So for the next little while,
You don't need to figure anything out.
You don't need to change anything.
Just notice the natural rhythm.
With every exhale,
Allow your body to soften just a little more.
Bringing awareness to your forehead.
Letting it soften.
And your top.
Allowing your shoulders to drop.
Releasing any weight you've been carrying.
And down into your arms.
Now bring your awareness into your chest and your heart space.
What's present?
Softening.
As if you're being gently held,
Supported by the ground beneath you.
Sinking deeper.
Deeper into the body.
Deeper into stillness.
And the mind begins to quiet.
Not in force,
But in presence.
And as you listen to the sound,
Notice any sensations in the body compared to when you first arrived.
And just ask yourself quietly,
What is ready to shift?
And a big stretch.
No rush to come back.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
