Hola,

This is Rudolfo Menjivar,

Star Fox Guardian,

And I'm here to guide you through a body relaxation process.

I want you to begin by getting into a comfortable position where neither your arms or legs are crossed.

I'm going to guide you through this journey and we'll be together for about 10 minutes.

If at any time you find yourself wandering,

Bring yourself back through the beat of the drum.

Let's get started.

We're going to start by taking a couple of deep breaths together.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

One more in through the nose.

Let this one go at the side.

If you haven't already,

The invite now is to soften the gaze of your eyes.

For this body relaxation,

We're going to move through the whole body.

I'm going to ask you to bring your focus and attention to each part of your body.

So now let's start by bringing the focus and attention into the toes and soles of your feet,

Letting them relax and soften,

And allowing them to feel the support that they always give to you.

Giving thanks for them always carrying you around and allowing them to soften,

Letting go of all of the pressure,

Moving your awareness up to your ankles,

Calves in your shins,

Giving thanks for the strength and flexibility that they provide,

The support they offer through every step you take.

Moving up to the knees,

And again giving thanks for the flexibility,

The flexibility that they offer you not only in movement but in your life,

To move in different directions,

Allowing them to feel supported,

Softening in to your seat.

Moving up to the hamstrings and to your thighs,

Allowing them to soften into the seat or cushion,

Giving thanks for the strength they provide you,

The biggest muscle in your body,

Giving you strength and power,

Being able to support your whole body,

Allowing them to soften and relax.

Moving forward up to the butt and the pelvic region,

Giving thanks for the softness and energy that comes from your center,

The peace that connects the lower and the upper,

Allowing you to have experiences in life.

Now moving up to the navel and the core,

The center of your very being,

Giving thanks for allowing you to be grounded,

Allowing your energy to flow,

Allowing this area of your body to relax and soften into your cushion.

This is a reminder that this is where your power and energy rest,

Giving thanks for this blessing.

Now moving up towards the ribs and the back,

And the strength and support that they offer,

These areas of your body that protect you and keep you strong and straight,

Giving thanks for the protection and strength that they offer,

Allowing them to feel safe and soften where you are.

Moving up into the chest and the upper back,

A place where your heart resides,

Giving thanks for protecting the love in your life,

For helping you be upright,

And being able to carry all the weight,

Allowing your chest and upper back to soften and relax in this moment.

Moving up to your shoulders and allowing them to soften and relax,

Giving thanks for carrying the weight of the world and of our expectations from self and from others,

And really allowing them to relax and feel the support,

Moving up to the throat and to the neck,

Giving thanks for the breath,

For life they provide,

Allowing it to soften and open so that your breath can continue to flow effortlessly and that life is able to flow through you fully.

Now shifting our focus and awareness up to the jaw and the mouth and to your nose,

Giving thanks for the nourishment,

Life,

Breath,

And all the vital processes that these areas provide for you,

Allowing them to soften too.

Then moving through to the cheeks and up to your eyes,

Giving thanks for your vision,

Being able to see,

Being able to perceive reality,

And allowing them to soften as well.

And as we shift focus and awareness to the forehead and to the third eye,

Giving thanks for your vision in the spirit world,

In the dream world,

For that connection to the spirit world,

Being able to feel the support of your guides and your angels,

For all the unseen support,

Allowing it to soften and relax,

And to feel that flow of energy and spirit moving through you.

And finally we shift our focus to the top of our heads and to the crown,

Feeling the lightness and allowing any pain,

Struggles,

Or anything else that you're carrying around weighing you down to move upwards and out of your body through the crown,

Giving thanks for this portal that releases all the suffering and pain,

And also allowing it to relax.

And if you still feel any discomfort in your body,

Allowing your breath to move that discomfort up towards the crown and out of your body.

And just remember to give thanks for your body and for all it does for you.

Going back to this practice,

Anytime you feel your body could use some relaxation and softening or when you just need to take a break.

Before we end,

We'll take a couple deep breaths together again.

In through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

In through the nose,

And let it out with a sigh.

A-ho.
