Day 1 of our Daily Drop of Gratitude begins with something so simple yet so powerful—the breath. Each inhale reminds us that life is flowing through us, and each exhale offers a chance to release and begin again. Today, pause to notice your breath with gratitude, honoring it as the steady rhythm that sustains and grounds you in this very moment.

Welcome to your daily drop of gratitude.

In the next few minutes we'll pause,

We'll connect with gratitude for something simple yet so profound.

Take a deep breath,

Settle in and let's begin this moment of appreciation together.

Day one,

Gratitude for the breath.

Settle into a comfortable position,

Close your eyes and then notice your breath.

Notice what happens to the body when you inhale.

Notice that the chest expands,

The belly inflates.

Notice what happens when you exhale,

How everything softens.

This next breath,

Notice the little whisper of air that moves across your upper lip and the warmth as it leaves your body across the upper lip.

Simply notice.

With each inhale,

Silently say,

Thank you for this breath.

With each exhale,

Thank you for this life.

Simply notice.

Let your breath carry gratitude into every cell of your body.

Breathing in,

I am alive.

Breathing out,

My breath sustains me.

Thank you so much for taking this time to nurture gratitude.

As you move through your day,

Carry this sense of appreciation for the tiniest of things and yet the biggest of things,

Your breath.

Remember,

Gratitude is always within reach.

All you need to do is pause and notice.

I'll see you tomorrow for your next daily drop of gratitude.

The little things as they say. People never stop breathing while alive. It's awesome that you helped me to realize even more. The mind blowing significance. For a simple matter. Which can and does have multiple affects. Both for the good and for the bad. It's a choice and it's a habit. Breathing effects so much! Thank you
