Hoʻoponopono (ho oh po no po no) is a Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. The word means “to make right,” restoring balance within yourself and your relationships. Traditionally, families gathered with an elder to heal conflict and bring harmony back to the home. This recording uses four phrases from a modern adaptation of that practice: I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. These words are repeated 108 times, one full round of a mala. Hold your mala in your right hand and begin at the bead beside the guru bead. With each repetition, move one bead toward you with your thumb. When you reach the guru bead again, your round is complete. You can also simply listen and let the words settle into your heart. This practice fits beautifully into a quiet morning, a gentle evening, or any moment you want to feel peace and release what you carry.
