Welcome to this 6 day morning challenge.
Start your day from the inside out.
This challenge was born from a longing many people recognize,
The feeling of drifting away from yourself as the day unfolds.
Giving a lot,
Thinking a lot,
Doing a lot,
And losing touch with your own center along the way.
Through breath,
Sound,
Gentle movement and awareness,
You return to your body and your own presence,
Tuning in to yourself so that you can feel clear,
Vibrant,
Centered and alive before the day has even begun.
This 6-day Morning Challenge helps you begin each day from within yourself.
Full of energy,
Centered and aligned,
Through short,
Embodied practices,
You return to your body,
Your heart and your energy.
Each morning you take a few mindful minutes to pause with your body,
Your breath,
Your energy,
Your awareness.
No complicated routines,
Just small moments that help you move into your day with more clarity,
Calm and connection to yourself.
I am Diana and I'm honored to guide you through this small practice.
Welcome to day five,
Listening without losing yourself.
Today we are practicing how to listen from your own center,
Open and fully with yourself.
You practice how to listen from your own center.
You remain with yourself,
Even in contact with somebody else.
Not leaning forward,
Not pulling away.
Simply staying present in your own middle,
While being open to the world.
Let's start with meditation.
Breathe gently through the centre of your body,
Upward and downward,
As if softly flossing your spine with breath.
Breathe in through your nose and gently narrow the back of your throat.
As if you hear a quiet sound from within.
An ocean sound.
Breathe out the same way.
Let the breath flow evenly,
Without force.
Feel how the breath sounds from within,
Like the sea.
This is the ocean breath.
Your breath is audible in your throat,
As if a gentle sea moves from within you.
And while you breathe this way.
And while you use this ocean breath and breathe upward and downward through your center.
And while you're breathing up and downward flossing your spine.
You say inwardly.
I am not this body.
I am not these emotions.
And I am not this mind.
And see for yourself what you want to add.
Maybe I am not the role of mother.
I am not the role of partner.
I'm not this close See for yourself what comes up next.
And release everything now,
While your ocean breath flows on.
And feel how are you now.
Feel this in your deepest core.
And stay here until you feel calm,
Centered and at ease.
You can return to this feeling and repeat the practice whenever you lose yourself during the day.
Love,
Diana
