Your heart shines brighter than a thousand suns.
This is the place where your true nature lives,
Your love,
Awareness and freedom,
All of that is present and feelable in your heart.
This meditation helps you sense your heart energy,
Live from it and be a light for yourself and others.

Close your eyes and let your body soften.
Allow your shoulders to relax and rest.
Let your pelvic area be soft and trust your pelvis to the earth.
Give yourself to gravity.
Breathe towards your heart and bring your attention to the center of your chest.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Feel your chest gently expand.
Your belly becomes more spacious.
Exhale through your mouth,
Long and slow.
Let everything you don't need right now flow out of you.
Gently purse your lips as you exhale,
As if softly blowing out a candle.
With that breath,
Release anything that isn't needed now.
Do this a few times.
A calm inhale through the nose and a long,
Slow exhale through the mouth.
Imagine that deep in your heart,
In the very core of your heart,
There's a tiny point of light,
Very soft,
Very warm,
Very quiet.
With every inhale,
It becomes a little brighter.
And with every exhale,
It gains more space.
See how that little point of light grows.
It fills your whole chest,
Your ribs,
Your shoulders,
Your throat.
It is warm,
Friendly,
Radiant.
It's your inner sun.
It fills your belly and your back,
Your arms and legs,
Your hands and your toes.
It lights up your skin.
Feel how this light expands beyond your body,
Beyond the space around you.
It shines freely and powerfully,
Unbounded,
Loving.
This is the light yogis speak of,
The light that shines brighter than a thousand suns.
The light that is always within you,
Your light.
Feel what it's like to bathe in your own radiance.
Now let someone or something come to your mind,
To whom you want to send love.
Trust that whoever appears is the right person or situation to wrap in your loving light.
Let your heart light flow.
Let it surround this person or situation completely,
Effortlessly,
Like a gentle hand.
A soft,
Loving blanket,
A warm liquid or a sparkling,
Shimmering glow.
Let whatever wants to happen,
Happen.
Observe and stay connected to your heart energy.
And notice what you give becomes stronger within you.
Bring your attention back to your breath,
Feel your body,
Feel your heart.
Take a few deeper breaths in and slowly,
Very slowly,
Breathe out with a sigh.
And notice how you feel now.
And then,
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
