Our identity is not all that obvious.
Some of us identify with our physical self,
With the external representation of who we are and our clothing choice,
Our body type,
Our hairstyle.
But that's not who we are.
Others will identify by the roles they play,
By their job occupation or their relationship status.
Well,
That's not who we are either.
It's just a small part of how we choose to express ourselves.
It seems that the self lies somewhere between reflection and intention.
We reflect on what we've done,
What we've felt,
What we've thought and believed about ourselves.
Our intention is where we want to go,
Who we want to be,
What we want to create.
And somewhere in between reflection and intention,
We find ourselves in the present moment space.
So it seems that the self can only be found somewhere in this space between reflection on what was,
On who we've been and the intention of who we want to become.
The easiest way to identify ourselves is to find that space between reflection and intention.
The reflection allows us to improve and make progress.
And the intention gives us a path of where we want to go from here.
So if you're looking for yourself,
Find yourself somewhere in this beautiful space between reflection and intention.
