Hello my name is Gabriella and this is a short mantra meditation for the Japanese mantra Nam Myoho Renge Kiyo.
To begin I would like you to find yourself in a comfortable seated position,
Preferably legs crossed but if you're unable to do so a chair is fine with feet touching the floor below.
This mantra is something I've been practicing for probably about seven years now on and off.
It's something that came to me in the most amazing way and it's absolute pleasure to share it with you today.
The essence of root of Nam Myoho Renge Kiyo comes from Japanese Tibetan roots and essentially by chanting this mantra it is an act of faith in terms of the mystic law and is opening ourselves up to the magnitude of life's inherent possibilities.
The four parts of the mantra sound like this Nam Myoho Renge Kiyo and you repeat that either out loud or silently to yourself.
We're going to do this for a few minutes but the longer the practice the better.
I recommend doing this twice a day once in the morning and once before bed.
