As we slow down and learn to be more present,
We become more aware of our emotion and the way we carry ourselves in this world.
Mindfulness is a contagious power of presence.
And when we observe someone else being mindful,
We ourselves become more awake.
By cultivating a calm and balanced nature,
We become an undeniable force in this world.
In this guided meditation,
We will settle back into the moment and tune into our inner world.
Let's begin.
Find yourself a comfortable position.
You can do this meditation sitting or laying down.
Allow your hands to rest on your thighs or alongside your body as you gently close your eyes.
I invite you to let go of anything that happened before this practice and anything that awaits.
Allow the next few minutes to be free.
Free from distraction,
Free from expectation,
Plan and worry.
Allow any tension that you are holding on to melt away from your shoulders and down your spine into the earth.
Let your belly soften as you enjoy a deep,
Nourishing breath in through the nose and a slow exhale out through the mouth without trying to force the breath in any way,
Without trying to imagine or visualizing anything at all.
Can you simply allow the breath to be?
Just enjoying this rising and falling movement,
The sensation of breath,
Of our life force.
As you breathe in,
Allow the miracle of life dance through your body.
And as you breathe out,
Feel your entire being soften.
With your next cycle of breath,
Allowing your face to relax,
Letting go of any tension in your jaw,
Allowing your tongue to fall from the roof of your mouth.
And see if you can relax even the small muscles around your eyes,
Behind your ears,
In your forehead.
Just softening your whole expression.
And with your next inhale,
You have arrived.
You are saving yourself just as you are.
Welcome.
Another deep inhale and a slow exhale.
I invite you to ask yourself how you are feeling today.
How is your body?
How is your mind?
How is your emotional being?
How is your soul?
Allow any thoughts and sensations to arise.
Remember that there is no right or wrong here.
Open your heart to receive yourself as you are,
Without judging,
Without comparing or evaluating.
Now with your next cycle of breath,
I invite you to place one hand on your heart,
Followed by the other.
And as you inhale,
Feel your heartbeat.
And as you exhale,
Become aware of your aliveness.
Imagine that you are protected.
Imagine that you are held and supported.
Allow yourself to feel this comforting energy in your entire body.
And if you feel open,
I invite you to receive these four mantras.
I am enough.
I have always been enough.
I see myself for all that I am.
I receive and support myself fully and unconditionally.
I am enough.
I have always been enough.
I see myself for all that I am.
I receive and support myself fully and unconditionally.
Many of us are very good at affirming and supporting those around us.
And this is a friendly reminder to include yourself in your giving.
Within you there is an endless stream of love and capacity for acceptance.
This is a place to where you can always go at any time and receive yourself.
I invite you to release your hands and dive a little deeper into the stillness of this moment.
And when you are ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your body,
Back to your breath.
Enjoy a nourishing inhale as you gently open your eyes.
And enjoy a slow exhale of gratitude.
Thank you for holding space for you.
I wish you a wonderful day.
