So go ahead and come to a seated position,

Either cross legged or with your feet touching the floor.

Close your eyes and place your right hand on your heart and place your left hand on your lower abdomen,

The womb.

Feel the energy within your right hand hovering over your heart.

Feel your heart space below it,

Cleansing,

Purifying your blood at this very moment.

And now feel the activation of the energy of your left hand hovered above your womb.

Take notice of this space of nourishment,

Of creativity,

Of love,

And of new beginnings.

Breathe deeply now,

Taking an inhale and filling both of those spaces with life giving breath.

And gently exhale,

Controlling the flow of the breath evenly out of your body.

And now take two more breaths like this,

Filling these spaces on your own.

Feel now roots coming from your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet,

The root chakra and the sacral chakra and feel these roots moving down into the earth.

Imagine them taking hold of Mother Earth and connecting you to her in a way that cannot be shaken.

Feel and know the Mother Earth is supporting and anchoring you.

And now imagine a light from the top of your head reaching up into the heavens in divine love.

Imagine this light radiating and pulsing through you upward,

Connecting you to God.

Feel the support here,

The support of unconditional love in all things.

And as you rest in this meditation space,

Picture the flow of blood,

Of oxygen and nutrients from your heart down to your womb and back up again.

And a few moments just watching this ever moving flow of life within you.

And now imagine a light from the top of your head reaching up into the heavens in divine love.

And now imagine a light from the top of your head reaching up into the heavens in divine love.

And now imagine a light from the top of your head reaching up into the heavens in divine love.

And now imagine a light from the top of your head reaching up into the heavens in divine love.

Perhaps it has given you the spark of creativity and new beginnings in other ways.

This is your moment to resonate thankfulness for all that it provides for you.

And now coming slowly back into awareness of the space around you.

Feel again the energy beneath both of your hands.

We offer up thanks for this time in this space to honor our bodies,

To honor our hearts for the love that they give and to honor our womb for its intense creativity that it provides us.

And we thank you now for this opportunity to focus on these gifts that we receive.

And now as you feel ready,

Slowly wiggle your fingers,

Move your hands and rest them on your legs.

Move your shoulders just a bit and come back into this body and into this space.

And when you feel ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you, that was beautiful. I am having a hysterectomy tomorrow and the grief I’m feeling took me by surprise. This honouring was exactly what my body needed.

Beautiful meditation! I like how you give enough guidance but also plenty of space to drop in and connect. Thank you so much x

Another beautiful meditation shared with you! Thank you so much. I am currently on the last day of my mensural cycle & completed a big move so this meditation was in perfect alignment with that. You have become my favorite meditation teacher on this platform! I love your soothing voice and the reflection you allow through the mindful pauses. Thank you thank you! Also, out of curiosity, how does the womb connect with creativity?

Beautiful meditation to hold a sacred space during menstruation. I felt connected with my body and let go. Mahalo.
