And take a nice breath in and out.
Let's begin by making yourself very comfortable,
Sitting in your space,
In your chair,
Feet resting lightly on the floor,
Body beginning to settle.
Begin to notice,
Sense or feel gravity gently holding you,
Nothing to hold,
Nothing to control.
And you take another deep,
Slow breath in through your nose and a long breath out through the mouth.
And again,
Breathing in and breathe out.
Let the day begin to fade into the background.
Now start to become aware of the center of your chest,
Your heart space,
Not your physical heart beating,
But the energetic space around it,
The place of your inner heart.
And imagine,
Sense,
Feel or just know that this space is slowly beginning to open,
Like a doorway gently parting.
And as it opens,
You see stars,
Stars against a beautiful blackness.
You see galaxies like the Milky Way,
Or perhaps nebulas swirling in iridescent light,
Pinks,
Purples,
Blues,
Yellowy golds,
A whole inner cosmos right there within you.
As you breathe,
Looking inwards,
Seeing the inner being and how the heart contains multitudes of colors,
Of timelessness,
Of light,
Of wonder.
As you float deeper into this infinite inner space,
Noticing how vast it is,
There are no edges,
No walls,
Only an expanding sense of openness.
You may feel a sense of quiet or like when you look up at the night sky,
Only this time it's deep within you.
As you gently allow yourself to move deeper still,
Past the stars,
Past the nebulae,
Past the galaxies,
As you move inward,
The colors begin to fade,
The stars thin out.
What remains is blackness,
Vast,
Still blackness,
Sacred,
Not empty,
But full,
Full of stillness,
Full of peace,
The void,
The true heart of the heart.
There is no movement,
No form,
No identity,
Just presence.
Rest here,
No need to do anything,
No need to name anything.
Let the silence hold you,
Holding you here in this infinite blackness,
Safe,
Still.
This is you returning to the center of your being,
A place untouched by the world,
Untouched by time.
It simply is,
And it feels good,
Not by pulling away from the stillness within,
But by allowing peace to remain with you as you return to your breath,
To the feeling of the body,
To the awareness of the room around you.
And you take a deep breath in,
And let it out softly,
Beginning to move your fingers,
Your toes,
Your hands,
Rolling your shoulders,
If that feels good.
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes,
Bringing with you the stillness of the void,
The infinite space of your heart,
And that beautiful peace.
