Welcoming your body,
Your mind,
Your awareness and your heart into this space of quietude,
Reflection and slowing down as the day draws to a close.
And coming into a comfortable position,
Closing your eyes and allowing yourself to sink into this unconditionally loving space that's created just for you.
And I invite you to bring your attention to your breath,
Feeling the rise and fall of your body with each inhale and exhale.
Opening your body into a place of stillness and quiet,
Unprejudiced reflection.
Knowing you are safe,
Knowing you are loved,
Knowing you are accepted,
Just as you are in this here moment.
Breathing deep into the back of your heart space and as you exhale,
Releasing the day,
The past,
All that has come before.
And now breathing deeply into the front of your heart space and as you exhale,
Releasing the future and all that is to come.
Resting deeply into the here and now.
Released of all burdens,
Released of all past stories and conditioning.
Released of the future,
The worries,
Apprehensions,
Excitements and stories of what will be.
Releasing everything on every exhale and welcoming in the wellbeing and peace that is right here,
Right now,
In the air that you breathe and in the energy that surrounds you.
Exhaling peace,
Exhaling tension,
Inhaling acceptance,
Exhaling forgiveness,
Inhaling love,
Exhaling all else.
Inviting yourself into the safety of your love,
Your gaze,
Your unconditional acceptance of who you are as you look back on your day.
And I invite you to go through each part of your day,
Looking at where you were less than you wanted to be.
Where did you fall asleep,
Losing consciousness in who you were?
Where did you fall from grace today?
Where did you react in a way that caused harm either to yourself or others?
And I want you to bring your loving awareness to each of these events,
Free from all judgement,
Just observing.
As a mother would observe her child as they learn to walk and might stumble,
Bring that loving gaze to yourself in each of these moments.
And in your mind's eye as you go back through these events,
Perhaps you can see if there was a better way you could react or be,
And rehearse a better or different way of responding.
Imagining your reactions coming from a place of deep inner peace,
Love and blessing.
How would you have reacted?
How would you have shown up in those situations?
And constantly bringing your compassion and love to yourself that reacted as you did,
And to all parts of yourself that were in pain or unconscious that led to that reaction.
Asking what is it that part of you that reacted in that way needed or needs?
And I invite you to take a moment to listen,
To hear,
To accept,
And to give that part of yourself what you need.
And now bring your mind's eye,
Your attention back to your day.
And I want you to acknowledge and celebrate all the times you showed up with grace,
With love,
With compassion,
With the unapologetic fullness of who you are.
Where did you remember and embody your chosen feeling state?
Where did you stay awake,
Conscious of your actions and your reactions and your truth?
Where did you stand tall,
Loving who you are and proud of who you are?
Where did you bring love,
Compassion and acceptance to yourself?
Where did you bring love,
Compassion,
Acceptance to others?
Where did you give yourself grace?
Tomorrow is a new day and you get to do it again,
This time with a little more consciousness.
Today has passed and you did the best you could in any given moment.
If you could have done better today,
You would have.
Thank yourself for who you were today.
Forgive yourself for who you were today that you did not like or that you judged.
Let all parts of you know they are welcome.
Let all parts of you know they are loved.
Let all parts of you know you are accepted.
And now release the day and I invite you to bring your awareness to a feeling you would most wish to feel right now.
Perhaps it's love,
Perhaps it's contentedness,
Perhaps it's connection to all things,
Perhaps it's gratitude or appreciation or deep inner peace.
And just allow that feeling to wash through you,
Touching every part of you,
Blessing you with its deep unconditional love,
Knowing you are gifted this regardless of how you showed up today.
That the gift of love,
Of peace,
Of acceptance is here for you always and comes from within you because you are a part of all creation,
A particle of God,
Like a drop of water is part of the ocean,
There is no separation.
You are so loved.
Releasing the day,
Releasing the day's reflections,
Releasing all ties that tether you to the past.
This is your chance to surrender it all.
Surrender yourself,
Surrender your thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions to the higher power.
Be it God,
Source,
Creator or infinite intelligence or love.
Surrender your day,
Yourself,
Your thoughts to this higher power.
Seeing that your sleep be deep,
Replenishing,
Nourishing,
Nurturing and asking that the new day tomorrow brings new opportunities for you to be a greater version of yourself,
A greater version of love,
A greater version of peace,
A greater version of your truest,
Fullest expression of who you are.
Breathing in the deep peace of the now,
Welcoming the peace to fill you up from within.
Enveloping your body in the warmth of its embrace as you gently release this day.
Knowing you are held,
Knowing you are loved,
Knowing you are God.
