When I am going through periods of emotional/mental struggle, I resort to my most valuable self-expression outlets - dance, song and writing - to express the feelings that want to come out. This is my first creation of poetry called "who is she". The eternal question...and still unraveling it! Enjoy :)

What is she?

If she is not the rain drops on the leaves.

If she is not the wild wind that tangles in her hair.

If she is not the radiance of the morning light.

If she is not the smell of fresh dew after a rainfall.

If she is not the rumble of thunder and flash of lightning in the sky.

If she is not the sweet smell of a fragrant rose.

If she is not the soothing song of the morning dove.

If she is not the gentle river stream or powerful ocean wave.

Then what is she?

She is the pause after the inhale and the inhale.

She is the eye of the hurricane and the hurricane.

She is the cruising wave and the whole wide ocean.

She cannot be labeled for nothing can describe her.

She is everything and she is nothing at once.

Truth is what she seeks.

Every day that passes is confirming her soul's purpose here on earth.

To allow the flow of love to guide her.

To experience the deepest sense of connection with the divine.

Both within and all around her.

Experience cannot be put into words.

For the state of being cannot be contained within an identity,

Thought or idea.

It just is what it is.

Freedom.

Freedom to live.

Freedom to love.

Freedom to express her divinity.

Freedom to be the woman she was born to be.

Sometimes she thinks she should have more structure or perhaps a plan in the way she presents herself in person,

Online,

To her family,

To her friends,

To the world.

But the truth is this is not her.

Her heart speaks in the here and now.

And her intuition guides her spontaneously.

Downloads emerge.

And what she needs to say comes through at the right time.

Her lesson is one of trust.

In her intuition and in her body.

Her lesson is to surrender.

To source energy.

Her lesson is to remember that there is a higher timeline and a bigger plan that she cannot yet see.

So trusting herself is her daily practice.

And helping her stay anchored in her heart.

She stops planning so much and instead chooses to allow the flow of consciousness to come through.

She becomes an open channel.

Where her vessels,

Her body,

Temple,

Connects earth and sky energies.

Merging at her heart center.

Where she rests in peace.

Her heart.

The seat of her queendom and higher wisdom.

The place worth truth resides.

When she allows herself to be fully present and witness herself as everything and nothing at once.

Expanding and contracting.

Revealing and concealing.

This is where she remembers.

Her non-duality.

And the truth of her being.

One moment she can sense her own transcendental self.

And then the next she is back in her physical body.

Feeling the very rawness of her human experience.

Tears streaming down her cheeks.

Experiencing the divine within her has brought her to her knees.

As she slowly chips away at the armor she's held around her heart.

Experiencing her emotions in their full aliveness.

Has been the biggest portal to awaken within her deeper truths and connections to source energy.

And as she continues to dance the eternal dance of creation and destruction.

With every sunrise and sunset.

Awakening to new possibilities.

And putting to bed what no longer serves her.

The question still remains.

What is she?

That is the greatest mystery.

Forever revealing more of her divinity.
