Hello my love and welcome to today's guided meditation and visualization to help you connect with your inner child,
Your little girl.
The little girl who might still be holding on to pain and hurt from the past.
The little girl who will help you remember what love and joy feel like.
The little girl who wants nothing more than to be loved unconditionally.
So let us take this as an opportunity to get curious as you journey inward to rediscover this little girl that you hold within you.
To nurture her,
To listen to her,
And to give her some space to breathe and to simply be.
Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.
Finding a soft surface,
Maybe grabbing a meditation cushion or propping your back along a wall.
Relaxing into your body and allowing the thoughts to drift in your mind.
As you take a deep breath in and exhale out through the mouth.
Gently start closing your eyes,
Making any adjustments you need to settle deeper into your body,
Into your space.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth.
With each exhale falling deeper into relaxation,
Into presence.
As you bring your breathing to its normal and natural rhythm.
Let your eyes get heavier,
Unclench your jaw and relax your cheeks.
Lower your shoulders,
Relaxing your arms and your hands,
Allowing your palms to lay facing down on your thighs.
Soften through your stomach.
Feel your legs and your feet get heavier,
Melting into deeper relaxation.
Feel your body here,
Warm,
Relaxed and open.
Now slowly bring your awareness to your third eye,
The space between your eyebrows,
And begin to visualize yourself as a little girl.
Just observe her for a few moments.
Look at her hair,
Her body,
Her twinkling eyes,
Her little hands.
Notice how she moves.
Notice her attitude and her expressions.
Take it all in.
This vision of your inner child.
What sounds do you hear her make?
What scent is around her?
What is her energy like?
Now imagine you see a giant bubble on one side of her.
This bubble is dark.
It's scary and it's smoky.
As you look closer at it,
You recognize what's inside.
Sadness,
Pain,
Hurt,
Fear.
Dark memories begin to emerge inside this bubble.
Maybe you're seeing flashes of dark memories from your childhood.
Or maybe you're simply seeing the emotions floating within it and feeling their heaviness.
The disappointment,
The rejection,
The fear,
The abandonment.
Whatever you are feeling,
Continue breathing in through your nose,
Out through your mouth,
Anchoring yourself in your body.
Know that it is safe for you to feel.
It is safe for you to feel this.
This incredible little girl created stories about each one of these experiences and emotions.
Maybe she created a story called,
I'm not good enough,
Or I'm not worthy,
Or I don't matter,
Or I can't trust others,
Or perhaps I can't have everything I want.
And she's not wrong for doing this.
It's what she was able to make out of the world around her at the time.
But in doing so,
There are stories she created that are not allowing you to live as vibrantly and as authentically as you would like to.
So take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale out,
Release the heaviness of these stories.
Now in your mind's eye,
See your adult self begin to reach out to this little girl.
Reaching out with open arms and a friendly smile,
You take her in for a warm embrace.
Holding her close to your chest.
And as you do so,
You watch as that dark,
Scary,
And smoky bubble slowly diminishes little by little.
Hug her.
Hold her.
Love her.
And accept her.
And watch as the stories from the past vanish away.
Now,
Take a step back and observe her again.
This beautiful little girl.
And begin to imagine now a big,
Bright,
Golden bubble on the other side of her.
This bubble is filled with laughter,
Creativity,
Dreams,
And love.
Perhaps you're seeing within it flashes of those happy memories and experiences that brought so much light in your life.
Maybe you're feeling the emotions entering into your body.
Those feelings of joy,
Lightheartedness,
And innocence.
Activating cellular memories of what you hold within you.
Witness what is coming up inside of you in this moment.
Staying with your breath as you inhale.
And exhale through the mouth,
Anchoring your seat bones into the ground,
Staying in your body.
Adding a friendly smile spread across your lips.
This feeling of joy,
Of lightness,
Of childlike innocence,
Of awe,
Of playfulness.
It's all yours.
And the doorway to inviting in more of it in your current life is through this special,
Beautiful little girl.
Now begin to notice this bright,
Golden bubble merge with this little girl and see how she lights up.
See how she begins to smile from her soul.
See her innocence.
See how much she just loves to play,
To move,
To imagine,
To create.
And she is here with you,
Ready to create more memories of joy to place in this bright,
Golden bubble.
Now watch yourself slowly stretch your arms out once again and watch this little girl run towards you and embrace you with all her love.
Feel the purity of her love fill you up,
Reminding you that you are her.
And that she is you.
And in this warm embrace,
Let her know that she is so deeply loved.
That she is safe here with you.
That she can be her authentic self here with you and express herself fully in your presence.
Tell her that you are here listening to her,
Honoring her needs,
And giving her space to feel.
And that together,
You can create beauty,
Love,
And magic in this world.
Now slowly begin to bring your attention back to your breathing.
Feeling the gentle hum of peace and calm all over your body.
Gently adding some subtle movements,
Wiggling your fingers,
Rolling your wrists.
And bring your hands onto your body,
The right hand on your womb and the left hand over your heart space.
Allowing a friendly smile to spread across your lips.
And stay here for as long as you wish in this beautiful connection with yourself.
With your little girl.
And taking with you for the remainder of your day and weeks and months to come,
The energy of your little girl,
Your inner child.
The energy of pure love.
Her creative spirit.
Her playfulness and her innocence.
Remembering to listen to her,
To honor her,
And to love her unconditionally.
And gently begin to open your eyes back up to your space.
Staying in this state of joyful wholeness for as long as you need.
