Good morning,
Everyone.
Let's throw our things around.
No,
Let's not do that.
Let's take a moment to find our seat.
This part feels quite important to me at the moment.
Finding.
Of my sea.
It calls to a sense of dignity to the practice.
It feels right.
So we'll begin our practice today with some awareness of our surroundings.
You might want your eyes open,
In which case just gazing with a lower case.
Or perhaps you prefer eyes closed.
Tuning into the sounds.
A view of space.
And then perhaps bringing your awareness to the sounds of your body.
Can you hear the sound of your breath,
Your breathing?
And as you bring your awareness in towards yourself.
Perhaps you can tune into the sensations.
Maybe you notice.
Pockets of tension.
How accidentally.
.
.
Cumulated.
You might need to circle or wriggle or two.
Free up some space.
We don't want the practice to be particularly rigid.
In its practice and in its mindset.
Is often unhelpful.
So,
Allowing a bit of fluidity,
A bit of grace.
And perhaps you notice the sort of first layer of sensation that's there.
Grabbing your attention.
Not making anything about it wrong.
Just curious.
So there's a wakefulness.
About your practice.
We're not here to switch off,
We're here to switch on.
Noticing and experiencing.
And a quiet invitation to come into your heart space.
Our intention this week has been compassion.
Some of you allow.
Your awareness to come into your heart.
Perhaps you'll be aware of.
.
.
Pulsing of your breath.
Through your heart.
And staying curious.
Just notice for yourself what's here.
In your heart space.
What do you notice?
We'll spend some time just exploring.
How is it for you to stay with your heart in this way?
Perhaps you become aware of sensations.
Or temperatures.
Textures.
Perhaps who see imagery.
Alright,
Maybe that you kind of go in and then bounce out again and go in and bounce out again.
Whatever the experience is,
We can allow it.
Without making a judgment of this is good or this is bad.
I'm getting it right or I'm getting it wrong.
Perhaps.
We can allow our hearts.
And our experience of our heart.
To be what it is.
So maybe it's interesting to notice where you go to.
I mean,
Maybe you stayed.
Awareness of your heart for the entire practice but probably not.
Who what was calling you away?
And can you meet that with kindness?
If you tune back into your heart just as we come into our closing Has anything shifted?
Or does it feel the same?
You're aware of the pulse of your breath.
We offer the fruits of our practice to ourselves,
To each other and to all beings.
Thank you so much for being here.
Namaste
