A short guided Soma Breath meditation that allows you to pause, take a few moments to relax, reconnect and re-align your mind, body, and soul. Integrates a gentle 4:4 rhythmical breathing pattern and short breath-hold after inhale (Antara Kumbaka). This practice will calm your nervous system, and soften the inner dialogue allowing you to move through your day with ease. The music used in this meditation has been provided by SOMA® Breath as part of the Breathwork Instructor Music license.

Sit comfortably in an upright position with your spine straight or you can choose to lay down on your back with your arms by your side,

Gently closing your eyes.

Allow my voice to be your guide,

Noticing the thoughts that enter your mind and gently,

With compassion setting them to the side for a moment,

Trusting that you are safe as you do so,

That it's ok to allow the worries a moment of rest.

And now taking a deep inhale through your nose,

Pause and just exhale through your mouth with a sigh of relief,

Noticing all the areas within your body that feel a little bit tight or feel some discomfort,

Maybe it's the forehead,

The jawline or the neck and shoulders.

Just allow a softening,

A gentle release of the tension you may be feeling.

Allow yourself right now a trusting in the idea of pause,

Inhale,

Exhale and reset.

Imagine for a moment that through your breath you can tap back into your power,

Back into ease,

A sense of calm,

A feeling of inner peace.

Where do you feel this peace and calm within your body?

Where do you notice it?

Give it a color,

Feel the warmth of it and allow it to expand with every breath that we take,

Focusing on a smooth 4-4 rhythm of breathing,

Allowing every inhale to connect to the exhale in a smooth,

Consistent manner.

With every breath,

Feel that connection deepening,

Feel the energy shift within and around your body as you breathe,

As you reset your mind,

Body and soul.

Consider the thoughts and the vibes that are no longer serving you.

Consider the power you have in this exact moment to redefine these thoughts for yourself Between every single inhale and every exhale lies the power,

Your power.

Within this space lays the gift of clarity.

As you inhale,

Take in all the thoughts,

All the vibes,

All the energy that aligns,

That brings peace and that serves your soul.

And as you exhale,

Release any thoughts,

Any vibes that no longer bring peace to your life.

Just let them go.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Let go.

And now,

Getting ready to take a deep breath in,

Taking that deep breath in through the nose,

Hold and pause,

Gently dropping your chin to your chest,

Just connect with this beautiful feeling just for a moment.

Feel deeply this beautiful expansion of calm within your body and allow it to expand beyond you and now just exhale with a big sigh of relief.

And now as you relax,

Just hold on to that charge of easeful energy that you have tapped into.

Know that you hold the key to bring you back into this place.

Trust that your breath can bring you back into your power.

And now,

As you move forward through your day,

Do so with positive vibes,

With grace,

With softness and with ease.
