When you need grounding, clarity, and centeredness, this meditation helps get you in touch with all this and more. How? By allowing yourself to get in touch with your "I am," who you really are as a human being. This is a practice that you can return to again and again when you want to tap into your wise inner self. Please note there is an extended period of silence. Silence is your music.

Hello,

This is Maria Baltasi and welcome to my Silent Wisdom Meditation series.

And this particular meditation is called I Am.

And I will be guiding you into a quiet and silent place where you can tap into your wisdom,

Your inner wisdom,

Your emotional wisdom that resides within.

And we will sit together in that stillness for about 15 minutes.

I will keep track of the time.

And when you hear my voice,

I will be guiding you back to the present.

So,

At this moment,

Get comfortable.

Whether you're sitting upright or lying down,

Just be comfortable.

If you are sitting up,

Have your back upright,

Feet on the floor,

Hands gently resting in your lap.

And close your eyes,

Gently breathing in and out of your nose.

And as you're breathing in and out your nose,

Just notice the silence around you.

And if that silence is actually punctuated with noises in the distance,

Just notice the noises and then just return to your breath as it's coming in and out of your nostrils.

Breathing in and out.

As you breathe in,

Follow your breath,

Focus your attention on your heart center.

Maybe even bring your hand there to better anchor into the area where your emotional intelligence and wisdom reside.

Breathing in and out.

Now I invite you to silently say to yourself,

I am,

And your first and last name.

Notice what thoughts or sensations come up without judgment,

Without a story.

Simply see what comes up for you like clouds passing in the sky.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Noises off in the distance,

Noises close by.

Just notice,

Release.

Same with your thoughts except for the I am and your first and last name.

What comes up?

No attachment,

No story.

Just noticing what comes up.

Next I invite you to say to yourself,

I am,

And your first name silently.

Again,

Noticing what thoughts or sensations come up without judgment,

Without a story,

Like clouds passing through the sky.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Simply only say I am,

Noticing whatever comes up for you.

Again,

Without judgment,

Without a story.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Keep gently breathing as you ask,

Who am I?

Still,

Only noticing whatever comes up for you,

No judgment,

No story.

Right now you're not looking for answers,

Just opening a conversation that will continue in the days,

Months,

And years to come with the universe.

You are connecting yourself to the divine.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Next ask,

What do I want?

This can be anything that your heart desires,

Material,

Ethereal,

Doesn't matter.

These are your desires and yours alone.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Now why am I here?

What is my purpose?

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Keep gently breathing,

Releasing any attachment to thoughts as they come up,

Keeping your attention at your heart center,

Following your breath in and out.

Sit in the stillness.

Begin with the wisdom of the stillness has to offer.

Then I will watch the time.

Peaceful and calm meditation. Also added in the 478 breath. Very little thoughts came in during the meditation. Thank you

Thanks for all that extensive silence- not a beginner meditation. I found myself saying the mantra so hum (I am) to keep my mind centered & filling in the statement I am with words - (which is probably not what was intended) ie I am love, I am connected, I am nothing, I am everything etc ... Will repeat as I feel it’s important to learn to sit in silence. 🙏🏽

I love the intro, allowing the “I am” to release into the universe and then sit with that in silence. It is a nice blend of silence and guided to start my day. Thank you!
