I Claim My Sacred Place

In this journeying meditation, you will be guided to claim your sacred place in the sacred circle of your life. You will join your ancestors in ceremony, they will offer their love, wisdom, and gifts. Empower yourself into your Personal Power!

Transcript

Welcome to I Honour My Sacred Place in the Circle.

Find a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed.

Take a seated position with your back straight and yet relaxed.

To make sure you're not straining any part of your body,

Swing gently your back from your pelvis from side to side until you find your centre.

And then do the same from front and back until you find your centre as well.

Tighten your shoulders up,

Tighten at the top and then release.

Breathing in as you tighten your shoulders up and exhaling as you release.

Allowing your body to find more and more relaxation.

Connecting to your breath as you move your head gently in tiny half moon circles.

So you're starting from your right shoulder and you're moving through,

Breathing into your left shoulder and swinging all the way back to your right shoulder as you take another breath.

And one more time and come back to centre.

So finding those places where your body can be at ease and allowing those spaces in your body that are tense,

Allowing and giving them space to relax by gently acknowledging them.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your belly all the way up to the top of your head and release.

And let's do this one more time.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your belly all the way up to the top of your head and holding for 1,

3,

4,

5 and release at 8,

7,

6,

4,

2,

1.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your belly all the way to the top of your head and holding for 1,

5 and release at 8,

And let's do this one more time.

Taking a deep breath in,

And come back to your normal breathing,

Staying present with the inhalation and exhalation and yet not controlling your breath.

Now allowing roots to grow down to the heart of the earth from the last vertebrae at your base chakra.

And when you reach the heart of the earth,

Introduce yourself to her.

And when you are done introducing yourself,

Let her introduce herself to you.

We have grown so accustomed to the names and labels that we have learned throughout our life Allow the earth to introduce herself with her true name that is uniquely yours.

This connection is unique to you and her.

So this name that is a unique connection that you have with her will represent that connection.

Feel this connection that rhymes both ways based in love,

In unity and cooperation for life.

Connecting with that umbilical cord as you are part of the earth and in constant connection with her and the rhythm and flow of life.

Rivers that you see upon her that are flowing and growing are the same rivers that flow and grow within you,

Within your body.

Your awareness now rises through the roots all the way through the inside of your body,

Alivening you,

Bringing more life.

Focus on the innate loving intelligence of your heart.

See how her radiant energy expands beyond your body and all around you.

Keep rising now with your awareness to the clear crystal of your vision at your third eye and see how it expands all around you and beyond.

Now bring awareness to all three at the same time,

The crystal clear of your vision at your third eye,

The loving intelligence at your heart and the roots at your base.

Feel the space,

The room that you are sitting in,

Any particular smells or sounds,

Temperature of the air,

Space that you occupy.

In one breath expand a little bit further,

Open your energetic field one more inch towards the circumference of you.

Now as you reach the furthest point in your field,

Feel the world around you connecting with you.

And returning back to center with one breath.

Listening to your heartbeat and feeling your life as your heart beats,

Loud and true.

From this center acknowledge your journey.

All has brought you to this point.

Let's expand beyond your journey towards a journey of humanity,

Nature,

The planet and the universe.

The thread you are weaving,

Your expression is weaved with the larger web of all life.

Life always yields more life and that life is like a wave that you are surfing carrying you forward.

And you are surfing that wave yielding more life through you.

Somebody else will surf that wave where you have helped to bring that life forward in that wave.

As you weave your life expression,

Life itself weaves with you,

Through you.

We all weave together,

Feel this life,

This energy in you,

As you and all around you.

If you look at your surrounding,

A creation of humanity that was innovated at some point in time by somebody,

Created by that someone and now created by thousands of others and now you get to see it and experience it.

The same happens with you in your life.

We are united at the heart.

The creative flow is what brings us and connects us to our heart center and to life itself.

So returning to your heart,

To your base and the clear vision of your third eye,

Acknowledging your whole being,

The space you occupy and your life as a whole.

I want you to visualize yourself now in nature,

In a beautiful and powerful landscape.

In this landscape you feel safe,

You feel at ease,

You feel your well-being.

In the distance you hear the drum and you see a fire burning.

You know it's the fire of the ancestors,

I'm speaking of the ancestors not only of this lifetime,

Of your current name but the ancestors of your soul.

You continue to walk towards the fire.

As you approach the circle,

The drumming of the drum resonates ever so strongly with the song of your heart.

The ancestors are all sitting in sacred circle and you see there is one spot left open.

They are not speaking,

They are simply looking you in the eye,

Each one of them.

As you acknowledge them with your eyes,

There is a part of you,

An ancient part of you that knows them,

Each one of them very well.

And their silence and your silence speaks louder than words.

The fire is hot and it's beautiful,

It sparks flight up to the sky as through offerings,

Offerings to life as the sky.

Each offering has a particular scent that fills the air.

You know that in the past,

In certain occasions you have sat in seats that were not yours.

And that even at times you neglected your urge to eat at some spot that you were called to and yet decided to sit on the one of the corner.

Disregarding your rightful and your birthright on the circle.

This time you see is different,

It's yours,

This is your sacred place in the circle,

Nobody else is,

Only yours.

You can now recognize that the times in your past where you sat on the place that was specifically and uniquely yours,

Magic happened.

Your personal power was given space to be fully expressed.

This was your birthright,

It is your birthright.

There is no competition here because what is rightfully yours,

It's yours forevermore.

Would you have come here to create with life more life,

Life is also giving you.

And this is your place,

You belong here,

This is where you belong.

You begin to walk around the circle from the outside.

Every time you walk past the back of one of your ancestors,

They throw an offering to the fire and say a prayer.

Sparks grow wild,

The words expand to the infinite time and the scent of the offerings fill the air.

One by one as I walk past them,

They give an offering to the fire and a prayer.

Every time the prayer is spoken,

My heart grows stronger.

I feel the prayer deep within me.

My steps feel deeply grounded into the earth,

If they were slightly sinking on the soil.

And I feel my whole being awakens more and more.

I can feel the spark within me lighting up ever so brightly.

I can see my space in the sacred circle and I walk into the circle and I sit.

I take a deep breath in as the whole circle begins to chant in a language that I don't know and yet it feels so familiar to me.

I hear the vibration and I let the vibration fill me.

I close my eyes,

I am home,

I am where I belong.

This is my sacred place.

The chanting stops and when I open my eyes,

They are looking at me with a smile.

I can feel the love,

This love knows no boundaries.

And all of a sudden my hands feel warm.

There's light coming through my hands,

My ancestors on each side are now holding my hands.

As they hold my hands they speak to me,

They're sharing their wisdom,

Passing on their knowledge and their love.

I give myself permission to receive it all and feel this all.

I breathe in deeply into my heart and I exhale with such ease,

Feeling the bountifulness of my life.

All the lines of my skin now tell not only my story but the story of the ancestors,

They carry the wisdom.

I carry the wisdom now within me.

The elder stands up and approaches me,

He kneels in front of me and brings his forehead in contact with mine.

He then whispers to me beautiful words,

He tells me that the past carries no weight no more.

The pain has turned to fire,

To passion,

To purpose.

And he continues to hand me a root and tells me that I now have the root of wisdom.

And he continues to say to me,

If there is something you need to let go of your child,

Do it now,

Speak it to the fire and let it go.

Take a moment to speak.

He hands me a seed and I give it all to the fire.

As I speak they all listen.

And when I finish the elder embraces me and kisses my cheek.

As I now hold the root of wisdom I feel whole and complete.

I feel ready to express my personal power.

The elder continues to tell me that the root is forever mine and one day I will pass it on too.

He stands up and returns to his sacred place in the circle.

We all sit in silence and yet so much was being said and expressed.

As we are holding hands our hearts are connected,

The knowledge and wisdom has been shared.

Now I have claimed my birthright,

Honouring my rightful place in the sacred circle.

Stay here as much as you need.

As you return to your room,

The space where you began feel your body,

The rising of your chest.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

As you begin to feel your body,

The space where you began feels your body,

The rising of your chest.
