No matter what you're going through we got big love and you know I love Michael Franti and you know what it was funny because last week I was in my head before I had to come up here and make the announcement I made and you know Reverend Tina and JC we just check in with each other he calls and how you doing what's going on how y'all doing and I called them and they said no well we're at dinner with the family which I love that family family family and then we're going to Michael Franti concert I went I have forgotten how much this person meant to me when I was just getting into new thought no music can change you from the inside out I say this music will soften your heart and I remember how much I really love his music and his message and I'm listening to the new track this is their new track and I'm you know listen I'm going well he's talking about what I'm going to talk about the only power and you're new to us here the only thing that is going on in this room is love the only power that we have is love true power is love you know we're closing on a very powerful month this month we were diving deep into this incredible book Invisible Supply by Joel S Goldsmith who invited us to see that God is everything we have a couple they flew off the shelf we have a couple of more left grab them and in this book he talked about God is the only source of supply and sometimes we get it all tripped up we think that Pookie and Nene and our loved ones is our supply they are not our supply you know God is your supply your job is not your supply love spirit God is your supply and we got a chance to talk about the next week how do we overcome this sense of separation because we all go through it and when we feel separate from God we feel separate from each other and separate from the world our power comes from our connection with the divine and then we talked about are we living our core values I had the honor and a privilege to share a stage with Jeannie Luper Smith and we talked about core values and how we can really be a living expression of core values we have our core values and I invited us to look are we living these values that we have chosen are we living our manifesto that's on the wall out there I'm the first person to tell you sometimes I get it right I try to get it right a lot of times and sometimes I miss the mark but it is my North Star how do I get back on track the only power to get back on track is the power of God the power of spirit and if that word God makes you squirm it's okay because I squirm too when I first started to hearing when I got into new thought when I got into this teaching but I know that Ernest Holmes teaches this word God is the universal presence of love last week we had an incredible awakening and yesterday if you weren't here was a beautiful beautiful retreat with Helen Hamilton I'm so grateful she brought the love in my heart and into our community at a very sensitive challenging time it was a beautiful beautiful beautiful experience so what are we talking about today we're talking about true power and what is true power because some of us gets it tripped up we have to remember what true power really is so today we're gonna unpack three questions what is power and then to claim to know what power is we must talk about what power isn't then we're gonna talk about how do we access this power and then we're gonna move into how will this power transform our life so you know me I love a good acronym and so I'm gonna give you an acronym right now and of course the word is power and power for me in this acronym stands for potential opportunities waiting to emerge and rise that is what the power of God is within us thank you Rev and that's the power of God that lives within us it is potential opportunities waiting to emerge and to rise so we're unpacking this idea of what is true divine power I'm gonna tell you what it's not you know Joel S Goldsmith talked about temporal power temporal power is not power but sometimes we get into our human incarnation we think that we have power because of the political party that's in control of the country or think they're in control of the country we we connect with the government power that says you can do this you can do that and right now we have a government that says that people who are like me are less than that cannot live fully out listen I do not ascribe to that power I am connected to a divine power temporal power is institutional it is systemic and the reason why we're still experiencing racism in this country is because we cannot break the change of the systemic racism that's still going on I'm here to tell you it's a new day we're about to step into something great and if you want to come along you come along temporal power comes in money we think we have power because we have money I love what Michael Franti says you know most of us know what's in the bank account but only God knows how much we go around or how long we go around how many times we go around we put the temporal power into controlling we put temporal power into your job your position I'm this you're here that is all what is separating us temporal power is where you live how many houses you have that's all temporal power temporal power is in the stock market and I have to leave the stock market alone and I still have my IRA in there but if you want to go on the stock market you're gonna go on that rollercoaster ride I was tired of going up and down up and down because I was putting my power into what the stock market says into my savings temporal power can shift at any time if we think that the person that we're with is the power what happens when that person doesn't love us anymore the way we want to be loved it shifts it moves it can shift at any time and when we look at temporal power it is unfulfilling and so when we have that temporal power as our God then when it doesn't fulfill us we're always searching for more and more and more and more that can never be filled up except for the power of God are you with me CSL I am here to let you know the only thing that's going to change your life only thing that's going to heal your life is God it is love it is fellowship these are the divine qualities that we study we study in France class we study in Reverend Tina's class and in dr.

Firds class this is why we do spiritual studies so we can really understand what this power is all about with a world that's divided and hungry for power it continues to separate it continues to push other people down while other people lifted up but we can overcome that we can overcome with the true power true power is divine love that is the only thing that is happening is divine love unconditional love because listen it's easy to love somebody who loves me but can I love someone who doesn't love me that would create that requires a higher level of love this love I'm talking about this power I'm talking about is the power that has created all things has created you has created you has created me has created this this this podium this came out the imagination of the divine that create this podium so that I may stand here everything the trees the cars the life we live is all created by the true power one power one presence one mind when we are digging deep for compassion and love kindness my heart is with the Pritchard family compassion and kindness comes from a place of deep love beyond our human experience beyond our human thoughts we have to dig deep into love that lives within us this love that I like to use and here's here comes the second acronym let's put that up guys love the acronym stands for love unconditional love open vibrational experience now I used to say it was vibrational energy but I had to change that to experience because coming forth and having an expansive new thought I had a new thought a new thought can you imagine that and I was expanded to know that this is not about the energy it's about the experience and that's for me because when I am experiencing love I am open I'm willing I am connected so when we look at love we have to look at as an experience the power to overcome anything the true power to overcome anything in your life might be sickness the loss of a loved one a breakup loss of a job the only thing that can heal us is the power of love it will get you through anything and everything the power to forgive the power to forgive and sometimes listen when you miss the mark you have to step up and going I'm sorry you have to own that but how do you really get to make that phone call that you know you need to make and you all nervous and the sweats rolling down your back how do you make that phone call to say I'm sorry truly saying I'm sorry it's a power of God the power of love but here's a bigger one how can you truly forgive someone see we're all walking around with unhealed unforgiveness and that unforgiveness will eat us up I heard something when my teacher said that when you are not willing to forgive it's like drinking poison and wanting the other person to die it is within us so forgiveness is key the only way we can get to the forgiveness it's with love so how do we access this every teacher every person every teacher that inspired me from Ernest Holmes to Emerson the Fillmore's Mary Baker Eddie they've all said it is already within you this power I'm talking about is not something outside of yourself it's something within yourself and how do we access it it is available to us every single moment that we breathe we have access to a power that can change your life it's an inside job we've heard that we've heard that before it's an inside job so to access the power that lives within us we must go within we can only connect with spirit through spiritual practices you've heard me say this before meditation is key I believe meditation opened my life up to seeing who I really am so I meditated on love I meditated on what does this feel to be loved go ahead and close your eyes for a moment I want you to swallow your breath I want you to recall a time that you felt completely safe I want you to recall a time that you knew all your needs were met recall a time it could have been with a loved one it could have been with a friend or someone that lifted your spirits into a unexplainable high vibration we call a time where you felt spirit you felt it was running through your veins let's come back into this room that's what the love meditation is all about and then our head will tell us well no you know you're not safe over here not so safe over here you can tell those thoughts that you are thinking the little ego I call a little skip I can go little skip I am not listening to you today I am remembering to remember to remember that I am love affirmative prayer y'all we speak into the universe our truth because what we teach in these teachings that when we speak it when we believe it we will activate the law on our behalf but we comes from how we think but it does not stop there there must be a feeling tone and we must align every single thing that we are we must align with the law our energy our vibration our action everything we do we must align with spirit so that's why we do affirmative prayer here that's why we speak into truth to activate service if you really want to dig deep into changing your life I was talking to Maya and I'm so grateful because when I got here dr.

Chris said to me listen this is a community that you're gonna find challenging to get people to come in and serve and I said to dr.

Chris I said listen I want to create a community that it's willing to go into sacred service I approached Maya I said Maya I want you to come on because you know the principle of service and how service can change our life so right now I want to thank Maya thank you thank you believing in me and this idea of service shifted this community people started coming up say I'll serve I'll serve I'll be on your team we'll create a group to march in the pride parade it was beautiful to watch this develop and I know this is not going to change services our sustainability and the reason why I put sacred service in it because when we serve each other we are serving God the God that lives within us so sacred means a reminder of God a minder of love so whenever we serve we're tapping into love we have to do a self-reflection we have to really dig deep and self-reflect that's a spiritual practice am I moving from a place of love right now or am I moving in my temporal power and we have to do self-reflections all the time one of this self-reflection that is followed after that is the mantra that's why I said to Antonio Antonio can you do me one because I don't really get into asking him to do songs as he does it so well I said this one song that I really want you to sing this Sunday he said yes the I am affirmation and mantra here's the importance of the I am anything that you follow I am with is your truth I am sick and tired that's your truth I am broke that's your truth I am lonely that's your truth but we ship that I am into the positive shift of our life we will be able to I am love I am joy I am oneness I am prosperous the I am mantra is the most powerful mantra that we have use it wisely and if you catch yourself in the I am tire place you can go hey that's not my truth my truth is that I am love we have to get into classes and I will speak this probably until I'm blue in the face and that's gonna be hard to get blue in the face we must get into spiritual studies we must continue to come to our retreats we must continue to take these classes from these brilliant teachers that are here because you will never fully get the experience of your true power until you're willing to unpack it then you're willing to ask questions you're willing to come forth and say okay I don't get this but I'm willing to learn your classes are key retreats are key see the power is waiting it to be revealed within you so how will it change our life I'm speaking from a personal place when I found my true power it gave me purpose it gave me purpose a lot of us are walking around going and why am I here what's my purpose is this all life is and those are really legitimate questions there are no right or wrong but that question brings you to a wreck a realization as Joel S Goldsmith talks about a realization of your true power it gives you purpose when we were in ministerial school we were tasked by creating our purpose statement and I stopped using mission statement long time ago because the mission statement says what we intend to do a purpose statement says this is why I am here my purpose statement is I am here to help people to see the light within them so that I can see the light within myself so that we can shine together that is my purpose and we create a purpose statement because we have an umbrella and then we realize am I in my purpose statement and if you're not in your purpose statement then that's not what you need to be doing I am here to help people see the light within themselves so I can see the light within myself so that we may shine together that's what's going to change this planet people we have to learn to trust see this announcement I made last week was one of the most challenging announcements but I'm trusting that the divine is taking me to a higher place of being who I was meant to be and yes it's sad and yes it's people are coming up to me I'm very sad but I'm very happy for you we have to be able to trust that something within you is speaking to you I know that listen sometimes I hear the audible words but most of the time it's a feeling trust that divine power that lives within you it is the power to grow because I believe we're all growing I believe that growth sometimes is a beautiful experience sometimes it's not a beautiful experience sometimes it is rocky there's a lot of tears there's a lot of heartache but it's still all in God in the power of growth for me power showed me my strength I'm reminded of our dear sister Whitney Houston I didn't know my own strength didn't know my own strength until I start trusting the God power that's within me this God power this true power shifted my life to a possible to a positive experience listen I love that I was here for two years I love that I came to do what I was what I was called to do I'm grateful that in the garage spirit says this is a yes for you it expanded me in ways that you will know soon but I'm grateful of this experience when we are tapping into our true power we feel connected to something greater than this human experience this human incarnation I'm going to leave you with this that acronym for power means a lot to me especially right now potential opportunities waiting to emerge and to rise there's a spark of divine potential that lives within all of us it is ready to be revealed there's a potentiality to show love to be the greatest that we've ever been its potential and the potential will expand as we cultivate that potential these opportunities for love is so needed right now we are in need of love because there are people out here that don't know there is opportunities for us to love each other there's opportunities for us to stand with each other as one it's waiting and what's waiting for us to say yes yes yes yes another I am an acronym teacher another yes is you expressing spirit what's your yes today is waiting for you to be revealing it because the planet needs your love your talents emerge there is something that's seeking to merge to us all the time and that is the power of God we call that the law of emergence if you are in a space and you're not sure ask that question what is seeking to emerge and you will get the answer is your power and then when we decide to rise up in consciousness the rest of the world will follow and that's how it happens see we get to rise our consciousness and we invite people to come to the party that's what we're here to do if I am lifted up all men women shall come we have to lift up our intention lift up our consciousness lift up our purpose this is why we're here to change the planet so I want to remind you the only things happening here today is love the only thing that's happening in this space is love this love is within you and that is the only power that is the only power and the last thing is we always talk about that word empowerment empowerment for me is the revelation that it's always within me and always has been within me so I'm empowered to move forward so CSL I am so grateful I'm so grateful for unleashing this power within me and holding the space that you can unleash it with an into you I am so grateful for you CSL are you with me then my job is done and so it is amen amen thank you I see you Rog I see y'all
