Welcome to CARES 10-minute guided meditation,

Forgiveness.

Thank you for participating in your transformation.

CARES stands for connection,

Action,

Remember,

Empowerment,

And self-love.

The intention for this meditation is to open up a space for forgiveness and self-forgiveness.

So settle in,

Get comfortable,

Relax,

Close the outer eye,

And remember,

Meditation means mindfulness.

So stay alert,

Awake,

And aware.

You can meditate seated,

Standing,

Or even laying down,

Whatever is comfortable for you.

So let's begin.

If you're seated,

Lay your hands lightly onto your knees,

Palms open,

To receive the gift of meditation.

Begin to breathe in through our nostrils and exhale through the mouth.

Let's do that again.

Breathe in and release a sigh.

And once again,

We breathe in and release a sigh.

Create a receptive space,

Open and willing,

For transformation.

Connection.

You are a loving being.

You are created from love.

You are filled with compassion.

Compassion for yourself and for others.

The natural state is harmony,

Unity,

And love.

Our journey is filled with successes and missteps,

But it's all created for our inner growth.

Action.

Identify in your life you consider a misstep.

Forgive yourself and let it go.

It was designed to make you stronger.

Identify an experience you consider betrayal.

It's time to forgive.

Identify a time you felt you did not show up as your very best.

It's time to forgive yourself and move on.

It's time to let go of all these experiences that you consider to be negative.

Because all things are working for your good,

All experiences are good.

Remember,

Remember unforgiveness is a low vibration.

It eats at you,

But we get to shift.

We get to reach higher.

We get to be more.

Remember unforgiveness is a choice.

We can choose to forgive others and ourselves.

Remember a time when someone showed you forgiveness.

We've all experienced a place and a time where the gift of compassion was laid upon our life.

You are empowered with love.

You are created from love.

And love is the greatest energy of forgiveness.

Because we are so connected,

The power to forgive is in all of us.

When we forgive others,

We forgive ourselves.

And when we forgive ourselves,

We learn to forgive others.

We are all so connected.

It takes more strength to forgive than to hold on to resentment.

Love,

Forgive,

Love,

Forgive.

Self-love and self-forgiveness are one.

The greatest love that we can have is love for ourselves.

It's a divine love.

Recognize we are more than the resentment and the hate we hold on to.

It is time to move on.

It is time to heal.

It is time to forgive.

Appreciate your journey.

Affirmation.

Today,

I choose to forgive myself and others.

Today,

My missteps are victories under construction.

Today,

The power of love fuels my energy to forgive.

So take a deep breath in.

Release a big sigh.

And in that sigh,

In that breath,

We release all unforgiveness.

Inhale again.

Breathe in the love from the universe.

And a big deep exhale,

Releasing resentment.

Breathe in again.

And a big exhale.

And slowly begin to bring your awareness back into this time and space.

Beloved,

You are forgiven.

You are loved.

And you are loved.

This was so much more impactful than I imagined. I didn't realize the depth of my hurt from a particular individual, but it came out in this meditation. I am not sure that I can fully forgive him yet. But this meditation opened my mind and my heart to consider it.

An incredible meditation Skip but definitely needs a number of further listens as so much to take in and think about .. Love the use of mishaps as opposed to mistake / failures .. But those mishaps may also include disappointments .. I came into the meditation with the aim of self foregiveness ... I do have a blockage in particular with myself regarding foregiveness as well as self love .. With the mention of betrayal only one thing came to mind but then limited time for more .. A 3 yeat relationship last year which in many ways broke me and led to a string of panic attacts sometimes up to 15 a day at the time then reimmerged begining of this year .. With all that has happened from last year onwards it is amazing I have stayed clean from alcohol .. I remind myself how is it going to help - feel the pain instead of numb it .. But I digress .. With this betrayal I will struggle to forgive in its entirety .. However I am grateful and thankful towards that person that it happened .. Do they form part of foregiveness .. With the limited time I was unable to think of the current business relationshio I'm in where I'm used and abused .. That I don't believe I would ever be able to foregive .. But never say never .. But as its still ongoing it'll require getting out of and closing the door on that chapter / mishso in my life .. As said needs another listen .. Thank you Skip ..
