The intention for this meditation is to open up a space for forgiveness and self-forgiveness.
So settle in,
Get comfortable,
Relax,
Close the outer eye,
And remember,
Meditation means mindfulness.
So stay alert,
Awake,
And aware.
You can meditate seated,
Standing,
Or even laying down,
Whatever is comfortable for you.
So let's begin.
If you're seated,
Lay your hands lightly onto your knees,
Palms open,
To receive the gift of meditation.
Begin to breathe in through our nostrils and exhale through the mouth.
Let's do that again.
Breathe in and release a sigh.
And once again,
We breathe in and release a sigh.
Create a receptive space,
Open and willing,
For transformation.
Connection.
You are a loving being.
You are created from love.
You are filled with compassion.
Compassion for yourself and for others.
The natural state is harmony,
Unity,
And love.
Our journey is filled with successes and missteps,
But it's all created for our inner growth.
Action.
Identify in your life you consider a misstep.
Forgive yourself and let it go.
It was designed to make you stronger.
Identify an experience you consider betrayal.
It's time to forgive.
Identify a time you felt you did not show up as your very best.
It's time to forgive yourself and move on.
It's time to let go of all these experiences that you consider to be negative.
Because all things are working for your good,
All experiences are good.
Remember,
Remember unforgiveness is a low vibration.
It eats at you,
But we get to shift.
We get to reach higher.
We get to be more.
Remember unforgiveness is a choice.
We can choose to forgive others and ourselves.
Remember a time when someone showed you forgiveness.
We've all experienced a place and a time where the gift of compassion was laid upon our life.
You are empowered with love.
You are created from love.
And love is the greatest energy of forgiveness.
Because we are so connected,
The power to forgive is in all of us.
When we forgive others,
We forgive ourselves.
And when we forgive ourselves,
We learn to forgive others.
We are all so connected.
It takes more strength to forgive than to hold on to resentment.
Love,
Forgive,
Love,
Forgive.
Self-love and self-forgiveness are one.
The greatest love that we can have is love for ourselves.
It's a divine love.
Recognize we are more than the resentment and the hate we hold on to.
It is time to move on.
It is time to heal.
It is time to forgive.

So take a deep breath in.
Release a big sigh.
And in that sigh,
In that breath,
We release all unforgiveness.
Inhale again.
Breathe in the love from the universe.
And a big deep exhale,
Releasing resentment.
Breathe in again.
And a big exhale.
And slowly begin to bring your awareness back into this time and space.
