Begin by finding a comfortable place where you can relax for the duration of this meditation.
Take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth,
Allowing any tension to melt away with each breath you take.
Just place your hands on your heart to make that conscious connection to the magnificence that you are,
Feeling,
Hearing or perceiving your heartbeat in whichever way is available to you.
As you settle into this space,
Bring your awareness to your body.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you.
Breathing in and out,

Which allows you to experience life in all its richness and beauty and through all your senses.

Feel the muscles and the bones that have supported you throughout the years,

From your hips to your abdomen,

And with each part offer words of appreciation for its unique role in your life and recognize the changes it has undergone as you have grown and evolved and all the wisdom your body has and is sharing with you.
As you breathe in and out,
Inhaling,
As you focus on each area take a moment to reflect on the ways in which it has served you throughout the different stages in your life.
Perhaps your arms have cradled newborns,
Embraced loved ones.
Your eyes may have witnessed the beauty of the world around you and the milestones experienced.
How your heart has expanded with love and compassion and maybe experienced a deep growth through grief.
All of this resides within the wisdom of your amazing body,
The beauty of your body.
Now take a few moments to scan your entire body with a sense of loving kindness.
Using your imagination,
Imagine that you are breathing in a color that comes from the depth of the wisdom within you.
A color that nourishes you at this time and send that into the whole of your being.
So with each breath,
Send this color like a wave of gratitude and appreciation to every cell,
Every organ,
Every muscle and every bone in your being.
Breathing it in and nourishing yourself,
Inhaling and exhaling.
Embrace the beauty of your body in all its form,
Honoring the journey it is taking you on.

As we come to the end of this meditation,
Gently bring your awareness back into your body,
