And today's guided moment guided meditation is brought to you by the word nurture.
I had stumbled upon the word nurture,
And I felt drawn powerfully by its companionship,
By its comfort.
It's not until major shifts come around we have revelations of how we would hold space for our past selves.
Nurture,
Such a powerful word,
Yet filled with so much grace.
Although some seasons of our lives are filled with turmoil,
We have some grounded in contentment.
We rarely make space to reflect and show gratitude for the person we are today by nurturing where we are.
So perhaps if you feel drawn to take a moment to nurture who you are now,
In this moment,
Wherever your season of life is at,
Whether it is filled with sunshine,
Or maybe it's in a moment full of clouds,
Allow your body to relax and find ease,
However that feels best,
However that feels safe for you in your body.
Allowing your body a moment to find stability,
Allowing yourself a moment to find the steadiness in the movement of your breath.
If it feels safe and you are in a safe space,
Allow your eyes to close so you can truly fill this moment,
So you can feel your body,
And feel your energy,
Unwrap,
Unfold,
Untangle your wandering thoughts.
Gently,
Give yourself permission to create space to nurture your weary heart,
Tired in all it's doing,
Exhausted trying to keep up to the weight you're under,
The worries,
The heartache,
The grief,
With grace,
With ease.
Allow the wild self to step aside,
So the quiet can be felt,
Be gentle as you ask kindly for the wandering pieces of your hurting self to soften,
To listen.
The ones used as protection to keep your space loud in order to drown out the pieces that need to be heard the most.
Breathe,
Allow yourself to listen,
Nurture,
Slowly,
Allow your space to settle here in this quiet,
In this stillness.
Breathe,
Listen,
Nurture,
If perhaps a wandering piece comes back,
Gently guide it back safely into stillness,
Reminding the busyness that you're safe,
Reminding your wandering thoughts that this silence is healing,
In this silent space of your heart,
In this stillness,
It can be trusted,
Breathe,
Listen,
Nurture,
As you arrive here in softness,
In stillness,
Show up to your heart with grace,
Perhaps in doing so you are drawn to words of compassion for all of your heart's whispers,
Wrap yourself in warmth,
Wrap yourself in reassurance,
Nurture your heart in this peace-filled steadiness,
In this stillness you have arrived to the comforting space of your heart,
Listen softly,
Feel gently,
Full of grace in your body,
You are safe here,
You are loved,
You are supported fully in this space of your heart,
Allow your heart to embrace the corners of yourself that have been neglected,
Breathe,
Listen,
Nurture,
You are supported fully in this space,
